True North one tactic is to wear some tape on your arm like paintball not even joking. Russian FSB wear armbands to ID each other. Kinda wish in tarkov you could wear tape on your arm to Act as a Bootleg IFF to teammates.
Loving the wipe, every firefight feels like that one in saving private ryan where the two dudes guns go click at the same time and they throw their helmets at eachother
my first raid i used 3 shots, killed 3 pmcs, then only to get ruined by the border control thingie they introduced on customs, i thought it was a player that first time, so my following scav run i ended up dying to it again, was did'nt even see the "player" again, so i had to turn to google to figure out wth was going on ^^ was a bad experience for my first raid xD
I love it, but man it's just end game already pretty much. Game is way too easy to get end game gear and money. Literally made 4mil on the first day of the wipe... Just ain't what it use to be back in the real Tarkov hardcore days for me personally :/

Y'all did wallbang that guy. That's what scared him out. The bullets just lacked the energy to do much flesh damage and lacked penetration to go through his armor. So basically you were barely hurting him, but it scared him out.
@@foamsmasher7220 you can definitely wall bang. Just have to have good AP rounds and shoot through the right stuff. I wall bang to hear them grunt so I know where in the box they are before I push. The penetrating rounds are so weak, I don't count on them.
@@psychzach1588 No I’ve got into fights where I’m using m995 or “Igolnik” where wooden crates have blocked my shots or where metal railing ricochets them. There’s only certain props that can be penetrated it’s not as complicated like your saying they haven’t implemented a worked out penetration system for props.
@@natetyler5565 A .50 beowulf would be overkill penetrate the walls of the little house I think a 5.56 or 7.62 should have done the job, but... Or rather, I think a 9mm could penetrate the thing, that is definitely not titanium and is definitely not thick enough to stop bullets
@@natetyler5565 It's a game, which they did not put bullet penetration system to some materials, which is why they can take cover in the thinnies of the trees and stop a mozin nagant bullet that is why the ycan stay behind a car and survive a hailstorm from an ak12, that is why they can have their lives saved by a pipe fence its a game, and I am pretty sure tegg dom't have .50 in it and even if they had, it would mot penetrate that shack, because its a indestructible structure with metal properties, with the very same physics as an abandoned tank has in the game I sound pissed, cause I am, not sure why, I just am maybe it's cause the game I was playing simply deleted everything I grinded for in the last year just don't mind me and if you read it all, I am very impressed
Alot of people pick up Tarkov and play a few games solo and quit. Tarkov is built to be played with friends and it's so much fun. Thanks for the Christmas vid.
Played it solo for 2 and a half years, this game is a lot more fun and challenging solo. Played with friends before but its never really been my cup of tea. Standard edition too, so It's not been easy but I like the challenge :)
Your squad is like a well oiled machine, everything works, you know where everyone, friendly and hostile, is. Any Tarkov player knows how impressive that is

Wallbanging does work, the damage from the round significantly drops after first penetration so you basically have to get a headshot on flesh only otherwise they will survive.
I may not be great at these games you play but you are by far my favorite youtuber for realistic shooters like Tarkov and Arma. Watching DCS from you is also fun! I hope to watch more of your streams soon. Thanks for all the hard work Drewski! I hope you had a very Merry Christmas

The reason you had to “cms again” is because they’ve removed the ability to do in inventory action while doing an external animation . In your case you tried to do the old heal while packing a mag routine which they have removed from the game . Great vid. Would love more tarkov content

Just killed a guy who had a decked out HK Gen 4 full and altyn who was already lvl 40. These people dont fucking sleep. Or have no social idk. I have a job family wife and friends to juggle im not even level 5 yet
first 5 mins was you guys discovering the glory that is the usec warehouse. i love that warehouse and all its windows many a kill has been procured from sitting in those windows.
just a little fyi, when you said that wallbanging doesnt work on that shack, it definitely does, but you get significantly reduced damage and pen through the walls. But you can totally flush people out by sending bullets through what they think is cover.
As someone who started late into the last wipe and constantly ran into fat players ending my life, this wipe is the best thing to ever happen. I’m all over Tarkov again
In other fps games, it gets easier with more people in your team. But in Tarkov it gets increasingly difficult the more people you run with, ofc as your team grows in size and coordination, you become more effective. I find that playing in a team results in higher rates of success in raids but it's also exhausting as it demands so much more effort in communication and awareness from you, 2-3 man squad is my favourite size; I remember running five-man squads in previous patches on the public discord servers, you were more likely to get shot by a teammate than a scav or pmc :P
"Make sure you become the 46%" If people actually do this, the number of unsubbed people drops eventually getting to the 46% mark. At that point the subbed people need to unsub to become the 46%.
I really enjoy the new wipe it takes a lot of the annoyance out of a firefight when you know that the dude that you're fighting is playing the game like a COD while you try to fight for your survival and your dusty AK that has helped you out throughout raids while hes fighting with a pimped out AR that means nothing to him
Wallbanging should work but not for all surfaces. The wall in office of big red is a good example. I've gotten a few nice sprays through the walls there 😁

Did you ever get to kill a real player? I have like 20 hours in it, but I can barely kill a scav, let alone a real player

Just a heads up Drew, if your healing of any sort and then try load mags it cancels healing, so thats what happened when you thought you CMSed
