I absolutely loved this video! It’s hard to decide between the 3 tours for a number of reasons. One, her tone has changed so much. HMT was so light & DWT was so much darker but SWT was like a mixture of the two. I would say I like the weight/chestiness of her vocals on the DWT, the insane ease of the HMT was just crazy, she literally hit Bb5’s like they were NOTHING. I would say overall for technique though, I think SWT wins it only bc she sounds much more free, open & healthy now. Great video! Thanks for putting so much effort into all the videos you create! -dwt vocals are more darker, heavier, mature version of her voice.
-swt a mixture of both eras but more confident and more vocal acrobatics.

Ok so this is my opinion (I am biased towards SWT vocals cuz of the naturally darker tone + improved belting technique; the dark tone in DWT was created using a low larynx, even though I LOVE DWT and I think it's Ari's most underrated tour vocally):
A4 - HMT (+3) > SWT (+2) > DWT (+1)
Bb4 - HMT (+3) > SWT = DWT (+2)
B4 - SWT (+3) > HMT = DWT (+2)
C5 - DWT (+3) > HMT = SWT (+2)
C#5 - SWT (+3) > DWT = HMT (+2)
D5 - DWT (+3) > SWT (+2) > HMT (+1)
Eb5 - DWT (+3) > SWT = HMT (+2)
E5 - SWT (+3) > DWT = HMT (+2)
F5 - SWT (+3) > DWT (+2) > HMT (+1)
F#5 - HMT = SWT (+3) > DWT (+2)
G5 - DWT (+3) > SWT (+2) > HMT (+1)
G#5 - SWT (+3) > HMT = DWT (+2)
The DWT belting range stops at G#5 so, to make it fairer for DWT, I didn't do A5 and Bb5.
HMT has a total of 24 points
DWT has a total of 27 points
SWT has a total of 30 points
So SWT wins ✨This is actually quite accurate cuz SWT > DWT > HMT in terms of belting technique, even though there wasn't a very big difference between the three tours. In the HMT era, Ariana resonated up to Bb4 at best, compared to a B4/C5 in DWT and C#5 in SWT. I am not a big fan of the HMT vocals but I can't argue with the fact that her ease during that tour was UNBELIEVABLE.

Sweetener Tour was kind of combination on good things from Dangerous Woman and Honeymoon Tours. It had ease of Honeymoon Tour and power of Dangerous Woman Tour and much better technique then both of them.

DWT sounded so throaty lol, but SWT was so open-throated

DWT’s Somewhere Over The Rainbow is the most resonant and beautiful thing that ever existed.

She CRIIIIED, beautiful. I honestly tbh never liked the C#5 from Side To Side.
D5: DWT > HMT > SWT
Once again SOTR from DWT is the most beautifil thing and I loved HMT as well.

Dang the DWT’s mid belts are beautiful compared to the other two.

I love Right There E5s but damn the other two tours really outdid it 🤣

SWT was better but I do prefer the HMT because I love that cute tone but I have to give it to SWT.

@@kennethperez2774 yeah that was a very tough decision, but i feel like the C5 from the DWT clip was very mixed at first and the D5 was not very well supported. But i find the DWT vocals in general way healthier than the HMT ones, but i based my opinions on the clips in this video :)
