You can use the banner bearer unit
@@NANOKUMONANOKUMO I tried that and it doesn't do anything for me. The units just march forward like normal. So as an experiment I made a unit and gave it the hold position attack. It worked, however I tried it later that day and again it did nothing. I guess my game is broken. :-/
@@quadfecta5259 possible solution: give custom banner bearer a faster recharge speed
The banner weapon held by bearers can inflict “stop” status effect to nearby units, which is shown by the blue ring on the unit. However, this “stop” effect goes away in few seconds so the banner bearer has to re-apply status effects. But the problem is, while the banner bearer is waiting for its skill cooltime the stop effect expires and units become free for a second.
@@gestalt7529 I solved the issue. I ran the vanilla version of the game with no mods and it worked great. If I used Thunderstore mods, it broke the unit.
@@quadfecta5259 I’ve had this problem before too with mods. I think it’s the free for all mod. It makes auras like banner bearer, flag bearer, solar architect, etc not work.
