Tree Top Quest High Ropes Course POV - Alton Towers

- After a full safety briefing, the adventure begins as you zipwire and swing from the trees as you navigate your way around the course. A dizzying 8m up in the trees of the Enchanted Forest, the High Ropes consists of 19 obstacles to challenge the thrillseekers who take on the course.
Daredevils will make their way up the spiral staircase to start from the turret of the central tower to then navigate their way across transverse nets, swing tyres, stepping stones and ziplines to complete the challenging course. This video shows the highlights from each of the 17 obstacles and 4 zip wires.
The High Ropes experience lasts around 45-60 minutes but could last longer or shorter depending on how fast you want to complete the course. Anyone participating in the High Ropes course must be at least 1.4m tall and over 11 years.

I did this today in Melbourne and I was SOOO scared. Even the second obstacle I had to get another guy to do it with me. But two hours later, and it seems easy.
Aw I really wish I had done it now. Just got back from a long weekend at AT yesterday. Was very tempted! Next time I'll just go for it! Well done you guys!! :)

Doing a similar high ropes course in two days for a friend's birthday. I don't know why I keep looking up videos like this, they only make me more terrified, but at the same time great video!

This is pretty easy for me - from experience.
rope courses are wild. from the ground they seem easy enough. but once you are the one 10 meters up in the air stepping on swinging hanging platforms its a whole different story

i did this sort of thing today... so scary but so glad i did it , paniced a few times ...
I did the one in trentham its called aeroial extreme it go a sort of drop tower at the end👊

It’s like scary if ur afraid of ziplines and heights because once you get on and there is a person behind u, you can’t get off so I went on a trip to Philadelphia with my class and I was scared because i was like omg I have to go on this zip line, but once I did it it was fun!
ive done a similar course in on a trip to wales...trust me its much scarier than it looks on thia vid!!

I've been to GoApe and it can be rally scary on the ones that wobble, especially if they're wet!

You should try Go Ape at Cannock Chase! There's a GIANT zipline that you're on for about a minute!

I was shivering so my friends pushed me off the high ropes course, I didn't fall and it helped quite a bit with my trust in the ropes
I must say it looks a very decent addition. Was this filmed on the helmet camera that you buy the memory stick for?
In two months time I'm coming to Alton towers with mam dad Aunty uncle and cousin and I'm going on that because it looks good and I'm not scared off anything I love hits

Front Because when u've done a hill or what ever you stop for a min then suddenly go
Cameron Riley if your going to have your eyes closed then there isn't much point on going on th front but if you like it to be rough and intense go on the back but the only thing I hate the back on is smiler but you can't choose where you go like front or back

I did 3 hours Tree Trek (rope/zip) course in Melbourne, Florida which is similar to this ... this video quality is great ... which HD POV Action Camera did you use ?

I had this on my p5 camp i cried because the last course on the high elements you have to step very far and its very high up and i had acrophobia
I went to tree tops and it was so long and high but not scary I was 10 :P
i did a ropes course on a cruise ship and compared to that this one looks.......a bit cheaper, but hey it has more than one zip line so it evens out i think

I done something like this in Centre Parcs (yes it is spelt parcs) it was absolutely terrifying but i did it and i felt confident at the end

Whilst waiting on an obstacle you shouldn't have the roller machine on the obstacle wire. If you were to slip or trip over something you would crash into the boy in front.
We were never told this at the time sadly, also this no longer operates at Alton Towers

Istg I went on this except it was a conquers not AT and this gurl was excited until she took five steps and started crying for like 30mins and so I was RIGHT BEHIND HER TOO so she was taking so long o had a conversation with the guy behind me

I did completed a course, I'm 11 so I'd say I shouldn't be that scared but gosh darn it I was shivering while trying to walk there 😂 you could see my legs shake Uncontrollably
