I am getting an error on my m1 Mac saying Could not place “Screen Recording 2022-08-29 at 17.04.55.mp4” because no parser or file format can open the file.

you can try layer->Video layer->New video layer from file.. before that do window-> timeline enable.

How do include a video in a better photoshop template, with angled TV. These templates are already available.. I have a smart object layer. But usually place picture there. How to include a video and then export from photoshop into a video format?

yes you can do that too.. smart object help to to change the angle and direction.. i have made few video on that topic plz check that on channel

Please change the setting to video and try. Some time your videos size big mean photoshop won’t render do to hug memory ..so try some small video
