I'd be thrilled with a 3,500 yd, 20 passing TDs, 11 INTs, 65% completion. I think what I'm proposing is realistic. I also think the Bears win goal should be 10, but even 9 wins would be a successful season. We're still not solidified with our interior OLine and at DE.
The offensive line is my greatest concern. Jenkins averages 10 games a season , a new center and Davis hurt last year and doesn't seem to have any desire to practice is a problem. However we do appear to have better backups this year. The 2nd concern will any edge step up to go along with sweat. 3rd how long will it take for this offense to gel, last year we got off to a very slow start, let's hope this year , we get off to a fast start.
Personally, I think fans should stay away from some sort of QB yardage goals. How about a 90% QB rating on the year? I'd love that.
The offensive line is scary because we have a lot of suspect lineups and not enough all around stud offensive linemen that have experience who you can count on with your eyes closed and CWWILL COME OUT OF THE GAME CLEAN.
We have a 6’1” rookie QB who has never played under center or used any convincing play action.
That’s number 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5
Running game, we need to keep the green bay system with the athletic linemen. Hopefully Waldron can stick with the running plays that already work for this team.
As long as we don't have their run defense lmao
I just want Wins!!! And beat the Packers!
Team wins is first and foremost. Weve seen plenty of QBs have gaudy seasons and the team have a losing record
Disagree with Brad on the defensive line. You simply don't trade a 4th round pick next year to select Booker if you view him as a total project player his first year. Booker needs quite a bit of playing time, so my point is that if you add a free agent to the line, it WILL NOT BE A STARTER. It will be a cheap rotation guy. If Booker was NOT selected, then yes the Bears would need to sign a free agent starter.
True. And I also think they may be happy with Gervon Dexter's progress as well. He transformed his body, changed his diet, and word is he's really hungry to train and learn and get better.
O-line I agree with Brad. If Nate Davis shows up ready to work, then I'm ok with him. Athletes shouldn't have to ramp up twice in the offseason, once for OTAs and once for regular training camp. If Nate Davis is giving us BS to start training camp, then he's just a lazy douche that just doesn't want to practice.
Dude...too much prattle b4 you got to the point of this cast....gotta learn how to streamline your conversations...
