After testing it thoroughly in every game mode, it looks like the spawns are zone based. If an opponent is on the side you could spawn, you'll go to the other side to prevent constantly being demoed. If they're at your goal or more than halfway to the midfield line, then it's more likely to spawn you on the same side
This game is ass. Daniel definitely saved the last goal in game 4. It even sparked on his car in the replay. But the trajectory of the ball never changed. Psyionics need to fix their shit.
