I don't understand why you have paramédics in the anbulance and then call an advance paranedic to help losing a lot of time. In our country all paramedics are advanced we call it Advanced Life Support units and they don't need to call for help and don't lose so much time on the scene. One single ambulance with two paramedics or one EMT and a paramedic can do the job.
Their regular paramedics are the equivalent of US EMTs, albeit with a little more training and wider scope of care. Intensive Care paramedics are equal to our normal ALS paramedics. The Aussie system is much better than the UK's system and closer to the US system.
……you don’t live in Australia, so which way the Australian Ambulance Service operates doesn’t affect you, nor is it any of your business. They’re a wonderful patient service, & it has been working for many decades’, extremely successfully……… Don’t denigrate an entity about which you know absolutely nothing…………
I don’t know where you are but here in 🇨🇦 we have both types. I suspect the vast majority of ambulance calls do not require advance paramedics. The cost of training far exceeds the cost of regular PMs. A slip on the ice. Or a broken ankle usually doesn’t require advance care. Here the advanced do more procedures and can administer stronger drugs and heart medications. My friends daughter just became advanced after 7 yrs on the job. When the system is paid for thru the universal system, it saves money. Ambulance ride here in Ontario costs 45$ give or take, regardless of who treats you
@@elizabethroberts6215Our system here 🇨🇦, works like yours. No point in sending a major even to a slip and fall (ice here in 🇨🇦). Been to 🇦🇺 in 2013 loved it like crazy.
Thank you for looking after us all with such loving professional care ❤
It is difficult to come to admit that you are not as agile as you once were. Be careful out there.
? why do the ambos not have a collar to immobilise the Phungs neck
