I think the limit is a good thing, too. I’m thinking it will help with overall bag availability in addition to what you mentioned about resellers. Unfortunately for some SAs, it may eat into their commission if they have a a small client list of big spenders.

What a lovely selection of new goodies ! Really love the new Chanel espadrilles 🖤 Personally I like the new policy on one bag a month, resellers who buy brand new and then sell for twice the price are, imo hurting this industry a lot. It’s exactly the same as those who buy huge lots of tickets for concerts then turn around and sell them for huge profits as the tickets sell out so quickly. Musical groups have tried to slow this down by doing similar things like limiting how many tickets can be sold to one person. The problem is these pro resellers have 13 family members who will all go in and buy a bag a month to help out the resellers booth. I personally dislike this whole practice a lot. I’m fine with someone selling there own bag that they bought for themselves and decided to sell for whatever reason, but professional resellers who’s buy direct from store with the sole purpose of reselling at a much higher price, is really really a bad thing. This ensures that on,y the very elite get to buy new as the price now becomes the price + 2 X the original price of the item .

Personally I like the new policy on one bag a month, resellers who buy brand new and then sell for twice the price are, imo hurting this industry a lot. It’s exactly the same as those who buy huge lots of tickets for concerts then turn around and sell them for huge profits as the tickets sell out so quickly. Musical groups have tried to slow this down by doing similar things like limiting how many tickets can be sold to one person. The problem is these pro resellers have 13 family members who will all go in and buy a bag a month to help out the resellers booth. I personally dislike this whole practice a lot. I’m fine with someone selling there own bag that they bought for themselves and decided to sell for whatever reason, but professional resellers who’s buy direct from store with the sole purpose of reselling at a much higher price, is really really a bad thing. This ensures that on,y the very elite get to buy new as the price now becomes the price + 2 X the original price of the item .
