I was there when the first audience-led encore happened in London. It was one of the first shows of the first tour at the Roundhouse (I'm not even sure they were actually on tour at the time). They finished on Run Boy Run, a minute after the end the audience started singing the melody and Yoann (the singer and creator) came back onto stage in tears. The entire place erupted and the band came back out to start up the drums again and we had another few minutes of absolute elation. His shock and joy at what the audience was doing was absolutely amazing, and that's what led to every show after it having this experience. I've been to a lot of amazing shows in my 46 years, but the emotion and passion for music everyone experienced at that show is forever etched into my memory.
Thanks to you for this new reaction… Woodkid is great artist!!! And just to let you know, he is the composer of most musics of the Mylène Farmer’s last album… His music and her voice….. Just fantastic!
Hi, that wasn't my first request to you guys...the first was ACDC/ Let there be rock "Live at River Plate ;-)" THX for this reaction, greetings from Germany :-)
Sadly he’s not up and coming just a super underrated artists I believe he is also a film director and if you watch the music videos of the songs you’ll get that from the art choice. Run boy run is part of a story of songs all of which are fantastic.
Love Woodkid. Spotify sugested him one day and matches other music I listen to. Epicore as Spotify sugested, though I've never heard of a genre called as that. But it makes sence. Woodkid has made music to Assasin's creed and intro song on the first episode to the umberella academy.
Don't forget that this song was used in a promotional trailer for the first dying light game that fits what the game basically was running around the map fighting zombies and running none stop at night this song could fit in so many video games

Is it just me, or is Woodkid like a modern incarnation of Dead Can Dance? Love it.
