Very important message! I have trouble with this sometimes in understanding, when it comes to any kind of relationship, even friendships. I'll just leave it in His hands, hopefully He'll make it clear to me.
I guess I mean how do you know you're not making an idol of even a friend if you think a lot of them? You have basically already covered it in this video. It's just so hard to understand, when you crossed the line of how much you think of someone, and not unconsciously putting them in such importance in your life that it offends God. Of course your relationship with your mate would come closer to doing this, but close friends might as well if you treasure their friendship too much. It's such a fine line, especially with a mate.

that was much needed conviction. you know, I don't think I ask God for enough to be honest. I think it has dot do with how my dad would always get me presents I never cared for. I projected my dad onto my heavenly father thinking that God would just give disappointing gifts so what's the point in even asking. God has been so patient with me
You have not righteousness because you do not ask for it, because you do not know how to sow light on the flesh to reap it. That's the only thing you do not ask for enough, each day. Psalm 97:11. Asking is sowing.

I asked God for some or most of the things you mentioned. To help my family, the needy .
To be married, but to also uplift my spouse to read and study God's word together. To have a business and to distribute to the needy.
I am not giving up.
And if I ask god to give me advice about his task for me? Or just to show me, what HE wants for me? Why does he not answer such prayers?
I am also wondering if He has plans for me. I guess not everyone is called to a ministry. My advice is: live your life, make decisions in accordance with God's Word.
I do want love. I do want to help the kids. I do serve God, but I don't understand what it is he wants me to know & do or preparing me for. I've never been cut off before from everybody & everything to the point that life has completely stopped. Its not about me I know that, cause it never has been. All these crazy dreams that don't make any sense. I don't get it.

This advice doesn't make sense when it comes to the desire to get married. It's in our nature to love and be loved. That's how God made us, and it's a good thing. Yes, it's also good to want to get married for a kingdom purpose, but that doesn't override the fact that we still have the need to love someone and be loved by that someone.
Yes, that makes sense. You can (should!) love your enemies, too. There are a lot of opportunities to practice love in this life. You don't need to be a wife or a husband to practice love.

But God agrees to poverty when he allows social inequality in the world which started because someone was born abaundant and some wasnt. He does not lament poverty. I have lost joy in heloing others, because I was abused by a lot.
