Correct. NET (the Nottingham Trams) will not be running to the Goose Fair due to strike action. The Forest tram stop will be closed. More details www.thetram.net. This strike action by the GMB union will inadvertently cause many fairgoers to have their fairground experience disrupted, curtailed or even cancelled. These SELFISH union members have no doubt undertaken to strike during the annual Goose Fair to deliberately cause mass inconvenience and chaos for people intending to travel to and enjoy enjoy the highlight of Nottingham’s events calendar. See support.thetram.net/support/solutions/articles/15000058785-tram-strike-27th-september-6th-october for updates.
its another great 4k video again ,not sure if you thought so but theres an awful lotta gaps between the rides etc years ago it never used to be like that it was always shoulder to shoulder that was the fun of the goose fair especially on friday and Saturday night oh well, thanks for the upload I enjoyed the viewing
The gaps are filling up. There was still a large crane and trailer there today with Mellors’ wheel or Eye, or whatever it’s called, and another trailer too. I imagine once these have been moved off site, some more smaller rides or food vendors will be fitted in, but I know what you mean.
@@TheBeeryBoater I hope so ,I dont want the people of hull with there fair saying theirs is the biggest and Nottingham's goose fair as gaps everywhere the atmosphere at nottingham is far to superior to hull ive been to both, but for me the goose fair is No1 and always will be
This strike action by the GMB union has now been called off.
