Vostoks have their fair share of charisma. I think there's something very appealing about a watch that comes from a country with a rich history of hard work against the odds. At least that's one of the reasons why I felt drawn to it.
Liking the content of your channel!!! A lot of different stuff. I have 2 Vostok's. An Amphibia and a Komandirskie. I love them!!! That winding thing is pretty normal. Takes skill or vodka...LOL. I have ordered presentation casebacks for both of mine. Been following them from Russia to Egypt, to here in Canada. I love their uniqueness. People look at them and ask, what the hell is that...love that opener to a great conversation!!! Funny thing about the bezels. When I wear mine, it always stays dead center, never moves around, my seiko's...always hit it and they always move. Try it. Thanks for this great video!
I have a very diverse watch collection lol. I actually prefer non-exhibition casebacks but I don't mind it when a watch comes with one. I do think Vostoks are very cool and the non-ratcheting bezel is not enough to deter me from buying another one in the future.
I've started adding l2l measurements in all of my reviews. I guess at the time it was a measurement I just didn't know was important. Always a learning process.
not really impressed with it, I only bought one just to say I had a Russian military watch for the collection. my acrylic crack but I found a watch repair shop that is replacing it with sapphire
it's definitely not a 'in your face showstopper'. Personally I find the value of Vostok from the reasoning behind their design and the history of their company. Objectively speaking it leaves me unimpressed if I had to compare it to other watches.
Hi Simucom, it's nice to see your review after i don't know, two weeks or so. Good old russian dinosaur. That bezel is completely useless but it's nice to see that somebody didn't forget to put a BIDIRECTIONAL bezel on the watch, like most of watch companies today. I like to see that. A bit crazy, stupid, i don't know....that placement of a subdial, why to cut off that 9 o'clock marking? That lume is disgusting....it's really not too expensive to produce it and paint it, Vostok could do it a lot better. Unfortunatelly that's not a military watch a long time ago...that's only a simple russian fashion ''military style'' watch. I'm not living in Russia but i think that's too expensive for most of a russian people. Vostok was a big name and a good and usable military watches but that was a long time ago, it's sad to see that thing today. I don't know why that thing is worth almost 100 USD, really there's no reason. Good video Simucom
Really like these, a no nonsense watch that has more appeal than watches 20x the price.

Agree with you Simu, that's a watch for a corporal not for a commandor, not in the bad way mentioned
Hi would like to know the lug to lug please
The bezel is just there to look cool. That's it's only function.
Thats not a false statement.
I was looking for a review for a K-35 case watch. Would you know what the specific model number of this watch is?
350504
@@degenerateWA Thank you.
Nice video
Thanks
Please, take always the lug-to-lug distance!

@@degenerateWA Ok, thank you! Yes, for the fit is even more important than the case diameter.
@@heisenberg470 in this case I measure it at 48mm
Hello, can you tell me lug to lug distance please
22mm
@@degenerateWA Thank you but that is lug width, I would like to know the lug to lug distance
@@lukamijic9549 oh shoot, I read that wrong. It's 48mm.
@@degenerateWA thank you so much, it is compact like I like it
