Great video Jon and Justin. You guys do such a great job to inform, and guide your current/future clients. I watched this video on my t.v. the day you released it. So, I wanted to take a minute and go online and comment and "like". I'm definitely addicted to watching your videos. It's like watching Netflix. I can't wait for another episode. Thanks guys. Kim and Jeff Dufresne
Stunning! During this year of 2021, the material costs and available workers are at a Premium today. That does make me believe I cannot ever be able to build a custom home one day. Especially being in California as well.
Since your homes are built throughout the US, how have you identified qualified, reputable, and competent builders for a particular area? For example, I live in north Idaho. I wouldn't know where to begin to find a builder in my area. I am leery of the trades. So often they are very hard to work with in that they don't return calls, follow schedules reliably, or disappear altogether. Thanks!
An idea for more show just an opinion like a show looking at different bathrooms then another of different kitchen and another on porches and so on that would be a lot of ideas we could write down what we like and ad from another idea if we want see it would be a big help for out of towers for a start apron ideas like the three things I want to be perfect is my walk in bath room a large walk around rock wall that has a rock built in bench with a water fall faucet to sit on the bench and wash my hair right there with ms it’s hard on me that idea would be so helpful.heating in it no doors just a rock wall about five feet tall a good size for one of the bathrooms in the master and built in tub steps up and room all the way around for plants candles those two bathrooms are one that I would want my money to go a long way. Then the kitchen a cream sage ombré with the new grey would floors and the green rock sink the other is the porches I read a lot so they would have to be sheltered front and back half rock half wood the rest is easy I’m just hoping these three are the dreams I have had for them.hope I didn’t talk your heads off on my dreams I just love the quality of your homes thick well built some use wood to small
Yes most people work with a lender, even if they can afford the home without a lender. Lending rates are super low and and investor can likely make more money leaving their money invested.
I don’t want a ballpark price. You know what the home price is and you’ve had enough experience to know what the final cost will be.There is a hell of a difference between $520k vs $200k.
520 is turnkey example and includes the 200 package, 200 is just the package not built ,so if you still have questions call 800-270-5025, thanks for watching
You've got to factor in labor and in construction that can be around 50% of the cost in building a home, plus labor costs vary around the country California country side compared to Oklahoma is going to be completely different. Interior finishes can make the price fluctuate $10s of thousands, do a full granite kitchen and compare it to a formica countertop kitchen that's over a $10k difference just in countertop material.
@@OneNationUnderGod. If I’m being charged $200,000 for the home I want the top materials used. I live on the east coast and my hone 5br/2.5ba with .33 lot is around $700,000. I could get a modular home fabricated and delivered for less than 520,000. Additionally I know the complete cost before the hone is built, no ballpark figures.
Are you talking about the Comic Sans that was originally designed by Vincent Connare for Microsoft Corp. based on lettering from comic magazines. But It has a such a friendly, casual appearance
We have several great series of UA-cam vids showing the build. Check this out www.goldeneagleloghomes.com/galleries/videos/log-home-construction-series/default.asp and then we are in the middle of a series that shows a DIY build that you might like too.
