Sir very informative vedio. Would like to know which ceiling light would be best for teak wood ceiling. Are there any chances of catching fire as the house is mostly made of teak wood for example total ceiling is burma teak planks on teak wood beams. If you could advise if its safe. Thanks
Discrete Opinions....COB are primarily meant for focus purpose hence they have less angle or parabolic throw. Whereas Panels are for full light throw coverage of room. Concept of Heat dissipation is different.

Can we use 15W COB as main light in false ceiling of a hall size (26*28) or should we go for deep panel....for good amount of light...I'm confused between these 2 because we have been using panel light ( 6k )since 10 years so it's getting difficult to decide pls suggest !
Hi, you can use the cob's as the main source of light - just use more pieces to ensure a good spread of light. It also depends on the ceiling height. You can also go with 18W COB. Panel lights have a different throw completely, plus they are more glary, pancake-y & don't provide that ambience.

15000 hours of expected usage in a plastic housing means atleast 5 years of regular home usage. your aluminum housing ones wont last a lot more than 5 years for sure. Stop misguiding people mate!!

Hi, yes you are right. The other specific videos do have lumens. Usually, these have 100-110 lumens per watt.
