I literally just shared this video with a friend on Facebook who I haven't talked to in years, who I rode flat with in the mid 90s. My comment was "these tricks are so ridiculous I would never have even imagined them".
@@matthoover111 I rode back then too, it was starting to go this way with the rolls replacing the scuffing which replaced the bouncing. With the exception of the kick flips most of those positions were there just not spinning them as fast or transitioning between them like that. ...but this is incredible, I never would have thought it was possible to be that fast or consistent
@@60degreelobwedge82 I never thought about it in those terms, the progression from hops to scuffs to rolls. I think you singlehandedly just made the best argument for riding brakeless that I've ever heard.
So tired of seeing guys who are back or front wheel only riders. Nice to see Yu and Mathias placing well in contests. Those two can really do it all. Same thing with park contests. Gotta be well rounded.
