Mozart 100 Light Race vlog - 20 miles around the mountains of Salzburg!

Running the UTMB Mozart 100 Light, in Salzburg Austria, on a wet windy and cold day, unseasonably in Austria for June - resulting in soaking wet feet, being covered in mud and finally, crossing the finish line in Kapitelplatz, after a 6 hour adventure through the mountains surrounding Salzburg!

Almost lost the camera in the mud there on one of the descents, close to not having any video at all! But it was some experience, might see you there next year, or another UTMB event if you’ve any planned, coming up?

Incredible event and run, Jason, well done. Finishing that is a fantastic achievement. I saw at the start that a lot of people had hiking poles and assumed that was for ascending - looked like they'd have been very useful for the mud descents too. I was half expecting the sound track of the sound of music too!! Regards, Ashley

I must admit, I’ve never watched the movie but I believe Salzburg is indeed the setting for it - amazing place to visit in general, I must say - but i definitely learnt that poles are a must for next time, they were key on the descents when I spent half the time on my back!
