Dubrovnik in 4K

- Dubrovnik is always worth a trip. That´s what the crew of Cities in 4K thought, too. So we decided to visit this beautiful city this spring after the Star Wars filming was finished.
Dubrovnik is located at the Adriatic Sea in Croatia and it´s on UNESCO´s list of World Heritage Site. It has a beautiful old part of the city which is bigger than the usual ones. It is a very popular touristic destination for tourists from all over the world, because it combines history and sea vacation in one.
Watch the Video from Cities in 4K and explore this amazing city with a lot of footage of scenes which were part of the popular series Game of Thrones. Dubrovnik looks charming with less tourists. So I'm not sure if it is still as nice when it goes back to being a touristy city, after the pandemic is over and done with. Either way, this city is beautiful. Thanks for this quick virtual tour!

In the seventies I was several times in a country that was called Yugoslavia.
I was in Dubrovnik and Zadar to see a rock group Beijlo Dugme. I also loved the band SMAK.
I met wonderful people, had friends in Knin, Dubrovnik, Sarajevo, Beograd and Kraljevo.
The people were good, the politicians bad. Who knows.

Dubrovnik was never part of Croatia. Only after ww2 communist party gave Dubrovnik to Croatia, same way as Russian communist added Crimea to Ukraine.

my dad was born in Dubrovnik and I so I got to go there a lot just saying its BEAUTIFUL and I got to sit on a cannon and go to the beach they did not show the beach though

How did you shoot the sunrise/sunset timelapses ? Did you take the pictures in Manual mode and change the settings when the brightness changed ?

Croatian women are beautiful, and I saw for myself. During my summer vacation in Croatia, I met a beautiful Croatian woman who is now my wife. I also recommended to a friend to go to Croatia to find eternal love for himself, he listened to me, now he also lives in a happy marriage. By the way, I am also from Belgium.

The island you're reffering to is Lokrum. It's been there like forever, it's just some of the shots took place there; in that regard they made a GOT museum there. That's all.
