Absolutely - I'm hoping these videos of batmakers in the UK toiling away captures the interest of the playing population. Hopefully folks will have a deeper appreciation and take a greater interest in the how and where their bats are made, and the story of the batmaker. 😊 Do keep supporting smaller businesses like this!
@davidjohn510 excellent - thanks for sharing. Feel is such an important thing, as is durability. Some people just prefer the look and stability of the square toe when in the stance, while others don't want to risk breakages or the corner digging into the turf when grounding the bat while running. Could you elaborate on what you mean about flick shots feeling amazing with the square toe? Is it maybe a confidence thing when you look down, and you feel the bat is wide and substantial, so you play the flick with more freedom?
Great video. It makes me want to go out and buy another Salix bat. So much respect for what they do there.

Didn't like this toe. It's round Toe. I love square toe (straight line flat Toe)
That's fair enough to have your preference - is there a reason for your love of the square toe instead of a rounded toe?
@@thecricketbatmakingenthusiast yes sir feels good, + flick shots comes amazing with it.
