Hello great video very informative of all the steps and options and durability. I just have one question what is the Bluetooth distance from the watch and your phone or have you tested?
I have two of these watches and yes they appear to be manufactured with great quantity. But unfortunately they do break. My watch stopped functioning after about 6 month of wear. I was surprised because I babied this watch. Someone should make a video on how to repair them if this is possible. If not then it make for an attractive paper weight
I've had that watch on March 15th, then returned it on April 4th. The watch is great for counting steps, blood pressure, and how big the screen it. But I had to return it because the personal watch faces flickers, the watch band is uncomfortable on my wrist, and whenever I use the app to synchronize the steps, blood pressure, sleep hours, etc., it drains out my iPhone's battery health maximum capacity. Going back to the Apple Watch and the iPhone's battery health maximum capacity stayed the same.
hmm ive not had those issue at all, but glad you found the solution that works for you. I chose this watch bc the apple watch is fragile, and my lifestyle is not. I was worried it would not stand up to getting banged around, dropped, wet, etc.
Had a problem on Jan. 26, 2024, watch went blank after a month & wouldn't power up even after charging. Contacted Customer Service, recieved a reply 4 days later. Followed their instructions & it came back to life. While there are a lot of bad reviews, my experience good. Hopefully more videos will be posted. More importantly I hope that I will get at least a couple of years service out of the watch. ALPHAGEAR! You all need to offer more than a 30 day warranty if you want customers to take you serious!!! Thanks for the assistance & I hope the product continues to improve along with the CS...keep up the good service.
I do not believe so. I’m not sure what happened to your screen, as the screens are pretty tough… I’ve smacked it with metal before. I don’t think they sell replacement screen.
Wallpapers are part of the watch, so no. Calls and text, standard messaging rates apply per your carrier (is that what you are asking)? If your make a call from your watch , it’s still calling through your phone (the watch is just the external Bluetooth mic), so your phone is still making call and getting charge as it would if you make from your phone. You cannot send text from the watch, only receive and view them
The watch will measure and collect all the data. There’s a third-party app that you can use on your phone to access all that data, or you can view the data directly on your watch face.
Do Bluetooth headphones work with the watch as well? Say I was listening to music, can I change songs from the watch? When I answer a call and have a headphone in, can I answer from the watch and have audio go to my headphones? Just curious of that functionality, great to the point video, looks like an awesome watch!
That's what I'm afraid of. Keep seeing comments about the watch dying only couple of days of 30 day warranty & they take a week to reply to their customers 😑 they need to up their warranty to 6 months to 8
@j2fit I would be happy if their warranty was longer than 30days. Pretty much industry standard is 1 year manufacturers warranty. As I don't think the sensors are as accurate as they should be I get different reading from my galaxy 4 watch
Makes sense. I haven’t had any issues with mine and it’s been many months, I use it every single day, and never take it off. As far as the accuracy on the sensors, I don’t notice it being off too much and I get the data I need. It’s also important to note that these watches are half the price of the galaxy four watch, so you have to adjust some expectations. If spot on accuracy for sensors, and GPS is what you need, then you may need to invest in something a little more expensive, but for my overall fitness and lifestyle needs the operating systems on this watch are perfect.

This watch is not great for the swimming pool. I had to get a new one because the screen started to haze down the middle so be mindful of that. it's water resistant not water proof. kinda bummed me out. now i'm looking for a new watch to hang out in the pool.
The watch doesn’t claim to be waterproof. It carries a IP67 water resistant rating, which is defined as depths up to 3 ft for 30 minutes or less…. So having out in a pool all the time would not work well.
I've had two Raptors for less than 4 months and they are both black screens. The first one I let the battery totally discharge because of overseas travel and I forgot the special cord. It never recovered. I got a replacement for $55 from costumer service. I've had that one for 3 month and is got a black screen after wearing it in the hot sun 103 deg. I'm tired of fiddling with the watch. I'll never recommend an Alpha Gear watch to anyone. Pretty sensitive programming. Rugged but the electronics suck.
There are more people giving this company terrible reviews than there are good. Was interested at first but after reading the comment section of a few videos about these watches I’ll probably check out the 25 dollar Temu version.
Do what you want. Also keep in mind most people who leave reviews often leave negative ones. It’s much easier to hate on a product than to love it and just move on with your life. But again, do what you want!
Not sure what you mean by “always on” feature. And yes. You can make and receive calls. Can only receive text on it (can’t text back from watch, same thing as the raptor)

I've heard of certain companies "sponsoring" people to give their products a positive review...not saying that's the case here, but I've heard of that. Furthermore, you have to download their app in order to use some of the features. I'm one of those nerds that actually reads the "terms and conditions." One of the sections stated that you agree to abide by certain things related to the people's republic of China...screw that noise!!! I'm an American!!! 🇺🇸

Their customer service is horrible, next to impossible to get a return. They publish 30 days returns, but it is actually 3 days.

Please do not buy these watches. They are tough everything else is crap. Software is lagging. Got mine wet in a three foot pool two weeks after I got it and it ruined the screen. They did offered a replacement without hesitation and after 3 weeks of waiting for a replacement I requested a refund. …Bravo XL.
This company is shit. The watches are cheap Chinese-made crap that they mark up whenever they aren't trying to "Sell" them. I emailed them the day I got it to return it. After a week went by, I emailed them again. They then told me they couldn't help me because they have a 3 -day return policy... Who the hell has a 3-day return policy? That's standing behind your product.

I prefer the bravo XL. It’s larger face, can make calls, and slightly meatier (not by much though)

Wallpapers are part of the watch, so no. Calls and text, standard messaging rates apply per your carrier (is that what you are asking)? If your make a call from your watch , it’s still calling through your phone (the watch is just the external Bluetooth mic), so your phone is still making call and getting charge as it would if you make from your phone.

Like a pin to unlock, no, however you can put it on screen lock if you don’t want it to be changing screens as you are doing active things

Yes to music and switching songs. Not to using headphones on calls (however I don’t think Apple Watch can do that either)
