Mr.Young ( the lead singer) was my favorite Science teacher at Illahee middle school when I was in 7th grade ( I graduated high school already) . I remember when his mom substituted my class for one day and we watched his music videos in class and when he sang on kids day with just him and a guitar, it was amazing ! He even invited the class to come see him preform on a weekend ( sadly I couldn't go) but still listening to their songs and mostly this one after all those years :')
I will always have this song on my playlist but now it will just remind me of my little brother's untimely passing last year. This was one of his favorites too.
used to listen to this song in high school. a lot of the comments are definitely nostalgic based. strange world we live in. randomly pops into my head every few years. first time i've seen the video. im 32 now.
I am dealing with the loss of a great friend. He was like my brother. I've been listening to this song since I was in high school and used it to cope with the loss of another friend in 2006. Never thought I would have to use it in the same context, but it's a gorgeous song and brings me to tears. God damnit, I miss him. Thank you, Amber Pacific, for making death easier to deal with. <3
