12:17, 15:30: You aren’t getting the coins because you have to complete the challenges in order to get them. There are three yellow blocks with green plus signs at the end of each level telling you the amount of coins, blue coins, and the time you have, if you complete all of the objectives, you get the coins

btw to get all 3 coins you need to
1: beat the level in time
2: get every gold coin
3: get every blue coin
You can do them all seperately tho.

they show what you need for coins
Let me introduce you to some geometry dash terms.
- you were getting moons because you were Playing platformer levels (the ones where YOU control the cube)
- you get Stars by Playing the official levels or any non - platformer online rated level
- rated levels: those are levels with most of the time high quality gameplay and decoration that were played by the developer of the game - robtop and if he decides that he likes the level its gonna get rated and will give you Stars/moons for completing it (in the game he refers to himself as „rubrub”)
- coins: when you were Playing the tower every level had 3 big gold coins just like stereo madness back on track.. basically to get the first one you had to get every small gold coin to get the second one you had to get every blue coin and for the third one you had to beat the level in a set time frame. The yellow boxes at the end are used to claim the coins. Blue coins are usually harder to spot than the yellow ones.

Btw 15:34, those stars are coins, and for the tower you have to beat each level under a certain time, get all yellow coins, and all 3 blue coins. A lot of the secret blue coins are way too hard to find so dont worry about getting these. For other levels, coins are hidden and you have to find them.

Geometry dash I really enjoyed this from fall guys! This was a nice video! Also good job beating that boss I think I took like 90 minutes but then I retried for the coins and beat it in 272 seconds.

Stentric you get the coins for the platformer levels by complying with those boxes at the end of the level. There is also a new normal level you should play that
Those are coins, you get them from the lucky blocks if you get all the yellow coins, all the blue coins and for speedrunning. For beating platformer levels you get moons, not stars.

To get the stars (coins), you have to collect all of the mini coins in the level for the first one, collect all three secret blue coins for the second, and speedrun for the last one.

The Tower levels showcase the new platformer mode.
Like everyone has stated already, you get the coins by collecting the mini gold coins, the blue coins, and finishing in less than the posted time. You do not have to meet each goal in the same attempt.
There's also a new main level called Dash that showcases a bunch of the new 2.2 features (there's a lot) and the new gameplay mode - Swing. There is also another level coming in a 2.21 update in the near future called Explorers.
There's so much stuff that you'd have to do a series just to experience it all (do it please).
I remember playing cool math games in school and I remember geometry dash was on there. I think I played it once and gave up. The one I play the most was the jobs like pizzaeria and fire boy and ice girl.
To get the coins you have to collect all yellow and blue coins and complete it fast enough

In the tower there are platformer levels. So it have moons. Normal levels have stars, platformer ones have moons.

To get the stars at the end of every level there are boxes with requirements and uf you have what you need,you jump at the block like mario and you get the star

To get all the coins in those levels you need to collect all yellow and blue coins also beat the levels under the time it shows
You can get the coins in platformer if you get all the yellow coins, blue coins and if you speedrun before the time limit.

If you want to get all 3 stars you gotta either complete the level as fast as possible(you can just ignore the coins), or get all the coins, or get all the blue coins. Then you can hit the "Lucky Blocks" at the end to collect the coins.
