Great stories, Lynn! The first guy, with the arrowhead collection and the treadmill, I think he ran into a juvenile who was attempting to initiate play with him. I doubt it meant him any harm.
But the campers in the redwoods!? Sacred Cow! 😳
The initial behavior of the big male they saw twice was docile. Calm. Then suddenly several of them attack the trailer in the middle of the night!? 😮Usually there’s some kind of indication of hostility from them before they just up and attack you!
So odd. Just more proof of how incredibly unpredictable they are. Slapping the sides of houses and trailers is pretty common and usually unprovoked, but what they did was unquestionably an outright assault, not just “messing” with you.
I’ve camped in that area, so this story made my eyes get big! 😱
