Hope you enjoyed watching me plot through adding the ribbon and bow trim on this dress! Check the description for a link to this gorgeous fabric, too. 😍
These dresses are just my style. I love the ribbons and bows. You are funny with the bows. Lol. Thank you so much for making videos for us showing your process of creating these lovely dresses. And the following videos that teach us how to do the facings and matching belts, that is fantastic! God bless you ❤
I have become obsessed with adding ribbons and lace trims to my dresses recently. So beware, it can be addictive! 😂 Seriously, the dress looks fab, and the pattern matching at the back is deeply impressive 👏
Thank you so much!! Yes, I can see how it's a slippery embellishment slope. In fact, I've been super into the idea of embellishing pants and capris (in fact I'll be doing a bit of it in tomorrow's video), but it didn't occur to me that maybe I could find a way to incorporate ribbon sometime. I'll have to think about it. 😁
Thanks! I'm really happy with how it worked out. I might find over time I need to tack down the back side of both bow loops in case they get out of shape from wear and washing, but I would definitely recommend trying this sometime. It's a fun little pop of extra color.
Love your videos, Tasha! My sewing skills are nowhere near yours, I'm even worse with knitting but you are such a radiant, positive person and I just love to watch you sew, make all kinds of stuff and simply living what you love. Greetings from Croatia!
This looks amazing! I need to spend more time making matching belts! I also need to figure out how to make resin buckles. I bought a mold a million years ago and have yet to use it!
I don't know which I like better, the ribbons and bows or the earrings and belt buckle. I have sewn ribbons before -- when I was young and insane. I look back on it now, and think "How on Earth did I do that?!" Nice Job! Super cute dress!
It looks great! I'd add another line of ribbon right at the hemline, but that's just me. It never occurred to me to make resin belt buckles, but now I'm in.
Absolutely beautiful! I am just starting out on my sewing journey with the guidance of my master seamstress Mama (thank goodness). I love watching your videos and dreaming about a closet full of wonderful me-made dresses that I will eventually get to enjoy! Thank you for sharing your wonderful videos with us!
Looks lovely. The belt really tied it all together. It would be really wonderful if you could add belt buckle and jewlery making to your list of future video ideas. PS love your assistant looks similar to mine.
I love the ribbon! I just found your channel and WOW this is what I have been looking for. I have been sewing for years, but the details, hacks, and tips you provide are just what I need to go the next step in my sewing.
Just love your videos! I have that pattern, got to go and find it now. Tasha can I ask you where you bought your mold and resin from for your buckle and earrings. The dress is fab and you look beautiful ❤️
(Sorry, catching up on comments while I was out of town) Thanks!! I make my own molds and am planning to do a future series on resin and mold making. 😊
Hope you enjoyed watching me plot through adding the ribbon and bow trim on this dress! Check the description for a link to this gorgeous fabric, too. 😍
Didn't know you made your own belt buckles Tasha! Glorious!
Thank you!! Yes, I love making matching belt buckles or jewelry sometimes. Will be eventually doing future videos on that.

Oh wow, that belt buckle really pulls it together, it looks great! Such a juicy citrus green, love it 💚
Thanks! I love a vibrant green.
Your attention to details is inspiring. Looks so fantastic!

Turned out super cute 💚, but, the mini ribbon struggle was real 🤭
God it was!! I hope not to inflict making mini bows on myself anytime again in the near future. 🤣
Aw, snap! The matching resin accessories are a power play. Love it
I was apprehensive for you about the ribbon and bows but in the end it’s so freaking cute!!
Ha ha, I was too!
Love the ribbons! And the buckle makes it.

I loved getting to hear your whole thought process! And the dress is gorgeous!
Thanks! It was fun to find a way to incorporate more of my process like I used to do in Instagram Stories sewing videos.
super cute! And not too fussy at all. I'm definitely going to do this now.
Thanks! I'm really happy with how it worked out. I might find over time I need to tack down the back side of both bow loops in case they get out of shape from wear and washing, but I would definitely recommend trying this sometime. It's a fun little pop of extra color.
This dress is super cute worth the details
Thanks, agree!! I'm glad I went for it in the end.

Thanks!! Doing a series of resin and mold making tutorials is high on my list, just need to find the time. 😊

Super cute! I’m inspired.
I’d love more info on how you made your belt buckle and earrings. They’re great!!
I'm planning to do a series on resin and mold-making, just have to carve out time for it. 😊

Love the bows and I am definitely not a bow person.
Tasha, I love the matching belt and earrings .. Can you show us how you do this please and where you buy your supplies from ? Xx
I loved the addition of the ribbon and bows! Also, you've inspired me to look into making my own resin buckles and jewellery, thanks Tasha!
Thanks!! I'm going to do a series on resin and mold-making hopefully soon but have to find the time.

Omg I agree! Please show us how you do resin accessories!

Welcome, and thanks for the kind words on my channel!
Oh my goodness! I love all of this, but the belt buckle and earrings were the cherry on top! So cute!
Thank you!! Love the full matchy matchy. 🥰
I love it. You make amazing videos.
Thank you so much! 🥰
Fantastic result! Good job! I'd be curious to know how you made the buckle and earrings :)
Ooooo it’s so prettyyy!!! ❤
I love these looks. Will you tell me where you got your weighs for the pattern cutting?
Thanks! They're just cheap washers from the hardware store in 2 sizes. :)
For really shifty things like ribbon I always used wash away wonder tape so nothing moves once I stick it down then top stitching is a breeze.
I have that too but didn’t use it since I wasn’t positive I was committing to adding them, and didn’t want to waste it.
Great Tasha I would love to learn!
Love your videos! Do you do your own belt molds or did you buy it somewhere? Tryin to find one in EU but it's impossible😂
How do you finish the top of the extra long zipper?
Can you do a zipper tutorial??
Oh my list to get to at some point for sure!
