I'm so thrilled to finally unveil the full extent of my new drum kit !
Receiving this set for TAMA's 50th Anniversary is something that means a lot to me.

Congratulations Thomas. Your new Tama looks amazing, beautiful and wonderful. And I think I saw in this movie that you have a new snare - isn't it a Starphonic Copper 14"x7"? Did I notice correctly? I've had the same one for almost 3 years and it's amazing - my dad and I were looking for the right snare drum for me when I started recording and this one is simply amazing :) Regards from Poland and I'm waiting for a video with details about your new Tama.

And about the snare, you noticed it perfectly ! This is this exact model I chose as a new snare !
I had the chance to try it first and yes, this is an amazing snare which is very versatile depending on what sound we are looking for !

@I'm no drummer but i love the instrument. How come you chose smaller kicks this time around? Cause you always trigger em anyway and smaller have faster rebound?
That’s a great question !
First reason is that I really wanted to have my toms lower down : kicks of 22" + toms of 9" and 10" deep, as I am not very tall and sitting pretty low, my playing evolved and I needed to have lower rack toms.
Then, you are corrected, it is better for rebound !
Also it takes less space and it has a punchier sound, so when I will have to record acoustic kicks, it will be punchier and still has powerful low end as it is made with Walnut 😊
