I first played dead rising when I was a kid as a demo on the xbox store. I played the crap out of it and finished that demo countless amount of times. We eventually got the full version along with dead rising 2, case west, and case zero. Today I found out you could spit in game. I was extremely confused by the title of the video.
After playing DR2, where they nerfed spitfire straight into the garbage territory, it felt very surreal watching this and realising that spitfire could actually make some bosses in DR easier than if you try to take them down using normal methods (excluding the most op ones, of course). I still don't understand why did they have to nerf it that much. You might as well just kiss a zombie if you wanna kill them with it, lmao

I always kinda wished Frank actually had the spit attack as a taunt/projectile in Marvel vs Capcom 3. He has so many other references to his actual fighting in game with weapons and even the combo weapons and camera level up mechanic but they never did the spit attack even as a joke. I know Deadpool had a taunt that had a hitbox with a speech bubble but would have been funny if Frank could technically KO a powerhouse like The Hulk or Dormammu by spitting.

My guess as to why Adam and Cliff are so easy is that perhaps their ai is programmed to behave differently if Frank is holding a firearm or something ranged (so Adam can go into his deflecting stance). Being unarmed does not count as a ranged weapon, cuz why would they program that in, so they just act normally and ignore the bullet force spit they don't account for.
Excellent video dude. On my journey of completing this game 100% again but on pc this time :) Makes me wish we got better sequels for this series, wonder if we'll get another good entry ever again

I'm thinking it's something with the projectile itself, even with melee Adam will still block hits. Cliff himself is more of a hit pattern

the only game where you can use spit against a family of snipers and still have a 100% chance of winning the encounter at max level
There's a weird mixture in this run where Carlito 2 is near impossible without level 50 but Adam could be done at level 1.
