That was some ride! Good job with Onion Creek video. I always have a spare battery for my GoPro especially in cold weather. iPhone video turned out great. Had that happen when we were doing our Arches video and Colorado Monument video. We’re planning to do Onion Creek sometime this month when we catch a break with the weather. Stay safe and thanks for sharing!😀👍🙏

LOVE your rig! Can you feel my envy? Looking forward to more great videos especially when the weather improves.

I don't think I want to drive this road in wet weather! You are braver than I am

We probably wouldn’t have attempted it if the weather was going to clear, but a weather advisory was issued so we decided to get out while we still could. Thanks so much for watching 🙂

I've been to Moab in the snow, and the rain, haven't been stuck yet but I've been in some slippery spots. They get a lot of rain, I don't know why it still looks like a desert there. For most of your drive it seems like visibility was more of a problem than the road surface but that might just be the camera. Some spots you drove through look like they were close to the comfort limit, a little more snow or mud and they could have been a problem.

Luckily we didn't end of having any issues, but there were a few sketchy spots. Thanks for watching!

Having had a couple narrow escapes from muddy roads south of LaSal Mountain, I would have gone on only if the weather was going to continue to get worse. I'm glad that you did however, it was good to know what that track looks like in bad conditions. Great video, all I might suggest is to activate the closed caption option, thanks much.

Just what I was looking for. We plan on doing Onion Creek Trail early March, but snow is a concern. When did you take this trip? Also, where did you come out? It looks like the wet roads made it a challenge. Thanks!

We did the trail last week of March. We took the Thompson Canyon/ Canyon Polar Mesa trail that was in the Funtreks Moab, UT Trail book. We ended up South of Moab via the La Sal Mountain Loop Road.

@@theviewfromhereoverland yes, I am using their trail guide too. But one could spend the rest of their life exploring 4th trails around Moab and never get tired of it….
