you probably dont care but does anybody know a trick to log back into an instagram account?? I stupidly lost the account password. I love any assistance you can offer me!
Lot of new features I'm sure help some people but lord would I go crazy for a few weeks. I like the simplicity of my 96 IT14G. But with over 30,000 well maintained hours shes slowing down. Think I'd buy a newer model IT before a brand new M series. I hear the mechanical issues are a nightmare but I have no opinion because I havent been through it like I have the IT
Typical Cat !!!- How do you hit the frickin button when youre bouncing around !!!. Cat ! - have a look at the old TCM !! - Kick down button on the top of the loader control - hence roam around loading cycle in second, enter the stockpile in second then hit the kick down to penetrate, fill the bucket, change direction straight into preset second !! piece o piss - no screwing around AND IT WORKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yep its stupid. It needs a button or trigger or something to shift from second into first when your going into a pile. Just like other loaders do. And you need to not have that turn signal lever where the forward and reverse lever is in older loaders. That thing sucks because old school loader hands are trying to use it like they learned how too.
I see an issue that NEEDS to be redesigned. Allow the operator to shift gears WITHOUT taking his or her hand off the joystick. In just first few minutes of this video has made it a machine I WOULDN'T welcome on my jobsite.
The first loader I ran on an official job was an ancient Cat 980. It was OLD. Jumping from that into a new Cat 988 with joystick steering was a huge change. Took me awhile to get things sorted. lol. I’ve run a plethora of loaders now and I like Volvo and Cat but the large Komatsu loaders are pretty sweet too. The machines have changed a lot over the years. If you’re used to running machines from the 70s… yeah these new gen machines will be a big change for you.
we have 3 x 2019 machines which are at 10000 hrs approx and have found out from a cat fitter that they are designed to fail so it costs thousands in parts. theres nothing wrong with the parts on the machine its just that its been programmed to fail around those hrs at the factory just to make money for cat, and they wont just reset the ecu to say the parts have been changed either they want you to change the new parts too. cat in our area are now charging £500 an hour. rediculous
what you need not just at cat but all company's, are designers of machines who actually speak to operators (not arse lickers who say whatever they are told) but real operators to give feedback on how to design a machine to make it more comforable and enjoyable to drive

they are designed to fail at 10000 hours from factory. constantly need re-gen, wire harness breaks in stupid places, the electronics controll te hydraulics and dont make for smooth operation as an operator, but worse of all these stupid curved front windscreens do nothing but throw shadows and light right in your line of vision so visibility is a nightmare especially working between sunny and shaded areas. and if thats not bad enough because you have to wear hi viz at all times nowadays it gets refected off the windscreen right in your field of vision. bring back flat windscreens for safety sake. these machines are rubbish, the old 938g i had before the m would dig the m into the ground, the m cant push at all, click the g down to first and it would push nearly anything it was asked, oh an who the hell drives a machine like hes trying to show you.........NO-ONE
Only have 6100 hours on my 930M and it’s had a few major issues. Currently Cat is struggling to figure out a High Manifold Rail Pressure issue. Machine won’t shift out of second gear and it will de-rate itself on startup to the point where it doesn’t even have enough power to get a 1/4 bucket of loose fluffy material. This 930M has been one issue after another for us since we got it. The 950M we got at the same time has been great. Have 11,000 hours on the 950M now.
Worst loader ever made no doubt. Cat screwed this up anything from 938m down is the worst loader I have been in. Rough riding, to light, hydrostatic transmission SUCKS! horrible I would take a 938H all day over these.
Have one of these new m series loaders, has spent more time in the mechanics shop than out working. The hydrostatic pump has been pulled out twice!

Just updated from 924h to a 930m. Very useful video. Thanks for making this.

@Holden Milo instablaster =)
This is the same exact loader that they gave me on my first day on the job I love it
I don’t know how those cat guys could stand the brutal whine of that hydraulic pump all day!!!
I run a Volvo all day and it doesn’t scream like that.
it gets annoying after a few hours,i run a 930k .Also the seat is the most uncomfortable thing ive ever sat in.Cripple after a day of running it
Ear Plugs?
I still hear it when I get home at night
@@RM..... totally agree, i have one and hate it compared to older models
I run a 930 and a 950. About 6 hours in each every day. The whine on the 930 is atrocious. I crank the radio up so I don’t have to hear it as much. 😂
Very professional video, good work 🤙

the old 938h can dig better in second gear than this can in any, its rubbish
I run a 938m but it doesn't have a screen. Does this mean it's missing certain features as well?
Yep its stupid. It needs a button or trigger or something to shift from second into first when your going into a pile. Just like other loaders do. And you need to not have that turn signal lever where the forward and reverse lever is in older loaders. absolutely!! This thing needs a button on the joystick to downshift into first when pulling into a pile.
yeah then you have this idiot trying to show you a "new" way to drive a shovel
@150_ENGINEER i just adjusted my first gear to be faster. If you put it in second it tends to shit when you don't want it to
So its like... the opposite of a car's throttle pedal. Pressing down on it slows you down and if you press it all the way you stop?
Sir I used first gear when I scooped the sand or debris is that okey I'm a loader operator

926m is the best.

Keep it in 4th and you don’t have to lol
Its auto kick down you fix it on the screen when it should kick inn. Have been driving 938k, 938m and 930m and havent had any problems .
@@kentrunenordli2189 I was taught on old school machines. Like 988B & Fiat Allis 645 & 605 loaders.
Thats ok 🙂 its somethings i miss from the old machines i av driven also.

This guy's mouth needs to stop. I'm insulted just listening to his tone.
Get a real operator to demo your loader. Not a salesman
C a t很棒😊😊
