Saudi Arabia says deaths during Haj 🕋 pilgrimage reach over 1,300

Saudi Arabia's health minister, quoted by state television, said on Sunday (June 23) that deaths were caused by pilgrims "walking long distances under direct sunlight without adequate shelter or comfort".
Fatalities also included a number of elderly people and those suffering from chronic diseases.

When has the Saudi Government ever accepted any responsibility for the lack of safety and security of the pilgrims. If the unauthorized pilgrims deserve blame for violating Saudi laws then does it mean they should die in the desert heat? What about those who were legitimate pilgrims? The facilities were inadequate compared to the number of Hajj Visas issued by the Saudi Government .

I heard a lot came without Hajj Visa. Saudi should be more strict during that season. Allow only people with the right visa to enter and not some travel Visa.

Saudi govt already put some limit to all the country for doing haj. This year it was the extreme temperature and the pilgrimage didn’t drink enough water that get heat stroke.

How is this ur fault when u guys are busy making money and signing new deals with western countries and u should invest more in pilgrimage rather than tourism of foreigners and arranging concerts in Riyadh where alcohol airconditioner and all luxury is available shame on the Arabs
