CamelBak sells a magnetic tube trap that can go on the strap for the tube on their website. Universal fit looks like. Thanks for the video
Thanks for the info. Someone else’s had mentioned that too and I have one ordered 👍 Thanks for watching
❤
Maybe a magnet adapter to hook your hose to the sternum strap. Osprey sells them.
Great idea, I’m going to look into that. Thanks 👍
Thanks for the content and review)
No problem. Thanks for watching. Take care. 👍
I have a 2020 Mil Spec Mule, and the shoulder straps feel like they have a cardboard liner inside. No cushion or pliability at all. I'm just wondering what your thoughts are on your shoulder straps, and if they have possibly been improved. I'm willing to buy a new pack if there have been some improvements to the shoulder straps.
The pack I have I bought around February of this year. The straps are thin (about 1/4”, 7-8mm) & quite stiff at first. After about 4 uses I noticed some difference with the pliability, but definitely NOT soft. They are padded - it feels to me like a stiff memory foam type of padding. (Is this how your straps are?) As I mentioned in the video there are lots of reviews that knock the straps for being uncomfortable, so there’s that. But as I also mention I frequently wear the pack for many hours at a time without comfort problems. I wear the pack high & always use the waist & chest straps. Hope this info. helps in some way. Thanks for the input. 👍
@@mwcooke8441 Thanks for your response. It sounds like there hasn't been a change to the straps since 2020. My "cardboard" comment was a bit of exaggeration, but the straps seem to be a weak link in what's an otherwise excellent pack. In my case, the straps are still stiff after four years of near daily use. And for some reason, they are starting to bother me now, where I never gave them a thought previously. Hence, my my search for a more comfortable pack will continue. Thanks again.
