As a longtime Solidworks / CAD user and also a bike guy, it hurts seeing bike parts not modeled even close to accurately.... But I know you're just going for demonstrating functions of Solidworks, so... Was a good video for that, though.
I appreciate the comment, and I have to agree with you. I've been trying to put a bit more effort into the realism of my designs over the last year, but it can be difficult to justify time-wise when the purpose is for demonstration. That being said, I get frustrated knowing some of my designs are lacking detail or are overly-simplified.
Made me chuckle when you said "I'm not an engineer legally". Here is the UK engineers are regarded as unskilled workers. Janitors are called multi-skilled engineers and dustbin men are called sanitation engineers now.
