@@masonasaro2118considering the theater segments are basically lightly scripted improv, it makes sense. similar set of skills to keep a scene rolling when something goes wrong at a ucb show.
Best Parts! 1:04 - I love how immediately Crow sings the Pants song. 2:02 - The way Tom just yells "CROWS BLIND! BLIIIIIIND!!!" Is so funny and yet adorable! 2:15 - "What's wrong, Crow?" Joel just sounds so reassuring, and I love it. 3:09 - Just..watch it. 5:42 - if you watch towards the end, You'll see why I love it. 9:08 - "I've got an idea!" "Wait..it's coming!" "Did i hear an idea coming up?"
You know, Mystery Science Theater 3000 taught me life is not the cruel and awful thing that most people believe. It taught me the world can be a great place. There have been moments where I get mad and I don't know what to do. Thanks to MST3k, those bad moods have faded away. Thank you, Joel, Mike, Trace, Kevin, Josh, Bill, Jim, Frank, Mary Jo, and everybody else who took part in this amazing show. My friends don't like MST3k even though they never saw 1 episode. So their argument is void.
This month and today I've lost family members and after everything that comes with it I come to watch them riff on bad movies, and they sure bring a lot of joy. Take care and enjoy life. Life is not cruel but it sure tries to make you hard so keeping a balance of humor is important.
5:28 *walks in with a plate of waffles chewing quietly for several seconds*.......Pancakes- Oh I blew it. xDDDD Poor Joel, I've had my brain lock up like that!
The DVD with the full Poopie! reel is part of the MST3K Essentials pack, which includes Manos: The Hands of Fate and Santa Claus Conquers the Martians. No matter what type of day I'm having, the Poopie! reel makes it amazing. : )
You can tell, even when they got the final take that they used on the episode, Frank and Trace were doing their darnedest *not* to laugh during the Johnny Long-Torso sketch. XD
The "Torgo the pizza delivery man" outtake is my fav. I love how Frank's already lost it at the beginning, and starts doing some bizarre face exercises to cover up for it!
I love the outtake from 3:22 onwards. Trace already seemed a bit hysterical from Frank's over-enthusiastic sign throw, and then : "Ha! Hee...ohhh." *CRUNCH* Staggers off clutching his head with panicky laughter. This place is a madhouse! :D
Man, Joel is a dork in the beginning, passing by the MST3K logo like he was dead and floating in space. But he's a loveable dork for some of his antics.
Another part that I find hilarious is when they screw up the discussion about waffles. Servo picks right up on it, and Crow's accompanying line to that is even better. It's almost like the screw-up was SCRIPTED, it was so gorgeous. What made it better was that Crow was staring right into the camera when he delivered the line, and he said it like he was being completely serious, like he was on some PBS special. Sometimes I forget these guys are puppets.
I wonder how many takes Frank and Trace had to do with the Johnny Longtorso song before they got it down without breaking down in laughter (hell, Frank almost breaks out in laughter on the episode itself).
I love the takes where something that WASN'T scripted got in. my favorite being one take where Crow gets hot coco spilled over onto him and he panics and causes havoc... and his eyes fly out and land on the table staring at us. XD
When Joel is demonstrating his Aliens power loader/drum set (the BCG something). Jim really thought Joel was going to fall over so he walked into the shot to prop him up.
From all the mods that the puppets have had (such as Crows headdress being put on the other way around), I think that later versions were built to be modular. Makes it easier to change out pieces.
That's easily my favorite blooper next to Crow's head on fire. The time it takes him to deliver the line , as well as the massive pile of waffles and the chewing motions make it hilarious.
what a uniquely human experience... at 3:10 i felt disturbed by a piece of babyseat, falling away from another piece of baby seat with a flashlight stuck to it. i know that is basically what it is, but i felt somehow shocked, as if i saw a real sentient being have its jaw violently dislocated. i love gore, so my reaction MUST mean i am a pretty big fan of the show? or perhaps it is easier to love this version of them as apposed to the super creepy early versions of them. (remembers "shivers")
@BryonYoungblood I recall Jim mentioning at a convention (Comic Con?) that Gypsy was actually quite heavy to perform with until he designed a load-bearing harness to move the weight to his shoulders. Of course that doesn't stop her mouth from falling off.....
I love how when they screw up they still stay in character and use the puppets.
force of habit, likely.

"If we're going to save the planet and stuff...I should really learn my lines." Joel
I love how they keep the bots in character when things go wrong. Crow's deadpan "What the Fuck?" killed me.
Does anyone else love Kevin's laugh?
"I'm not particularly enthused with myself." -Michael J. Nelson
I agree. Mike coming in as torgo would have slayed me every time. No way could i have done that scene. It kills me.
I love when Frank gets the giggles. It's truly contagious. XD

Frank is my recovery hero. Life CAN be fun sober.
"pancakes" will still be my favorite blooper ever.
5:28
*walks in with a plate of waffles chewing quietly for several seconds*.......Pancakes- Oh I blew it.
xDDDD Poor Joel, I've had my brain lock up like that!
Because you're going 'don't say pancakes don't say pancakes'
The pause before he says it makes it even better.
What makes it even better is that every skit in that episode centers around...waffles. Not pancakes. Waffles.
“My brain locked up!” -Trace
I absolutely love that they stay in character when they make a mistake. XD It's adorable. They really are 'them' so to speak.
The DVD with the full Poopie! reel is part of the MST3K Essentials pack, which includes Manos: The Hands of Fate and Santa Claus Conquers the Martians. No matter what type of day I'm having, the Poopie! reel makes it amazing. : )
I love how Jim (Mallon) thought Joel was going to fall over. From Joel's smile, it looked like he was touched at Jim's concern.
You can tell, even when they got the final take that they used on the episode, Frank and Trace were doing their darnedest *not* to laugh during the Johnny Long-Torso sketch. XD
I love how they just run with everything.
"I'm BLIND!"
CROW'S BLIND! BLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIND!!!
That gentle kiss on Dr. Forrester's shoulder... I love random stuff like that.
Mike's little "I'm sorry, man." Makes it even better.
“Later… later…” 😳🤣
"...Pancakes--oh, I blew it, I'm sorry..."
The best part about that is that he never changes his tone.
3:20 Gypsy laughed so hard she dislocated her jaw.
I like how Mike says, "That's funny!" so matter of factly.
The man knows comedy when he sees it.
I like the way they had to add a beak onto Crow's already existing beak to make him look like a chicken.
The "Torgo the pizza delivery man" outtake is my fav. I love how Frank's already lost it at the beginning, and starts doing some bizarre face exercises to cover up for it!
"Oh, oh! Oedipus!"
Gods damn it, Crow XD
I don't know what it is, but seeing Frank's face light up with laughter just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
I adore the way Kevin/Trace/Bill carry on when the other bot has a malfunction... :)
I love it that even when in blooper almost no one gets out of character XD
I love how Mike messes with Frank when he and Kevin are cops from the Indestuctable Man episode.
"I don't fink on soul brotha!"
Well, I was following your lead, Mamajama.
Oh, well, send them the movie then, Frank.
I like how often the bots don't break character when something goes wrong.
Trace definitely had the best reactions, as both Dr. F. and Crow. I wanna party with him, man. ;-)
This show had so much energy
I think it really picked up when Kevin got onboard.
6:46 Mike kissing Dr. Forrester's shoulder was.... um. Wow. lol
Mike: Well....Kevin's Irish, but I'm Danish.
Frank: HAHAHA!
Mike: ......[laughs]
in Hellcats, where the Mads are on fake motorcycles, you can see Trace smiling when frank says his line
"Well, if we're going to save the planet and stuff, I just really should learn my lines."
I love the outtake from 3:22 onwards.
Trace already seemed a bit hysterical from Frank's over-enthusiastic sign throw, and then :
"Ha! Hee...ohhh." *CRUNCH*
Staggers off clutching his head with panicky laughter. This place is a madhouse! :D
"Pancakes. Oh I blew it, I'm sorry..." "You nut! Get out of town!"
WOM WOM WOM
Man, Joel is a dork in the beginning, passing by the MST3K logo like he was dead and floating in space. But he's a loveable dork for some of his antics.

I still have my Poopie VHS.......It is being sent to the Library Of Congress as we speak
I still watch this accouple times a year, these guys are my heroes!
I hope one of them is Turkey Day.
I wonder how many takes Frank and Trace had to do with the Johnny Longtorso song before they got it down without breaking down in laughter (hell, Frank almost breaks out in laughter on the episode itself).
Their laughs, especially Kevin's, are SO contagious.
I admire you immensely too, Mike. :)
Oh I love that sweet little kiss at 6:47! And the reaction.
Pancakes, oh I blew it.
I can't believe Frank hit the SoL with his own head. :P
I loved how Crow just starts singing the Pants song after Tom falls over.
Joel: Consider the waffle. A delicious extleh-heh. Bohub, ahmm-hmm.
Servo: Spogegabofergen, novahervagabund.
Crow: For our friends in foreign lands.
It's so weird to see Torgo walk w/o The Haunting Torgo Theme.
I have no idea how anyone could keep a straight face with Mike as Torgo
Whenever I feel down I watch these. They're all hilarious guys, even when they mess up XD
I love the takes where something that WASN'T scripted got in. my favorite being one take where Crow gets hot coco spilled over onto him and he panics and causes havoc... and his eyes fly out and land on the table staring at us. XD
I like how the puppeteers stay in character, even when one of them messes up.
When he messed up the line where he said, "Consider the waffle", I love how Servo picked that up so quickly.
Does anyone else laugh uncontrollably at 2:23? It's perfectly timed and seems so natural. It's hilarious.
@BryonYoungblood The one time they need Crow's net to come off... and it won't come off
I remember how excited I was when this tape, and the scrapbook came in the mail!
Great stuff!
i LOVE watching these guys laugh.
LOL I love Joel, he walks out with waffles and the first thing he says is "pancakes....ah crap I blew it"
Laughed so hard I nearly choked on my lunch!
I love how they stay in character even when something goes wrong! =D
When Joel is demonstrating his Aliens power loader/drum set (the BCG something). Jim really thought Joel was going to fall over so he walked into the shot to prop him up.
"What was the deal with the ancient Greeks?...Nothing, okay."
I love how even Mike can make Trace break character.
"Crow passed out! He's got sunstroke! Talk to me boy!"
What's wrong, Crow?
Jesus Christ, that little kiss at 6:48?! xD
I was just looking at Rifftracks the other day, and it's great to see the team working opposite other comedians too...like Weird Al!
From all the mods that the puppets have had (such as Crows headdress being put on the other way around), I think that later versions were built to be modular. Makes it easier to change out pieces.
Love the fact that the robots stay in character the whole time! MST3K FOR EVER!!!!
*Holding waffles*
Pancakes... oh I blew it!
XD
Amazing how they really look and react as they are alive for real. Great Job and funny bloopers-
OMG - I'm completely HOOKED on RiffTrax. It's awesome!
Crow passed out, he's got sunstroke!
Help meh! Help meh!
Mike pulling out Crow's eyes in the contact sketch just made an already terrifying sight even more frightening.
Yeah, you can tell from these that everyone on the set was just having a lot of fun, so even multiple retakes could be enjoyable.
That's easily my favorite blooper next to Crow's head on fire. The time it takes him to deliver the line , as well as the massive pile of waffles and the chewing motions make it hilarious.

Crow: What the F%^k? God that always makes me laugh
3:36 Oops, the wall collapsed on the work.
TIMBER!!!
Frank's laugh and Mike's reaction at 5:07 are hilarious. I miss this show so much...
Oedipus!
omg that was amazing!
ROFL. Crow's reaction to 1:16. xD
7:49 "[he looks like a] scared hamster"
I love it how anytime the situation calls for any kind of motion from the puppets, they break apart in catastrophic ways.
Joel floating in front of the logo....nice...and it just gets hilarious from there on out
I must have seen this a hundred times and every time Mike walks in as Torgo I crack up.
I love how the puppeteers manage to stay in character.
And Kevin as the cop looks like Paul Blart.
7:45 Like a scared hamster...
HELP US
23 people want to know how he eats and breathes and other science facts.
La la la
+velveetaslingshot They're mad there wasn't real pooping. Sickies.
I love it when Frank gets the giggles.
God, I love these behind the scenes videos for MST3K
Makes an funny show even funnier.
Great evil laugh at 4:16.
Well, Kevin here is Irish. I'm Danish.
“HAHAHAHA”
I like how Servo has gotten over his drinking problem enough to put his drunken bloopers first. Sixteen years sober.
5:30 This proves that Joel is in fact sleepacting.
*net falls off* Crow: What the f***?
