I found this lecture highly motivating and Mark made it very clear to me what it means to be a healer and to keep our thoughts on a spiritual level.

Mark: You describe so simply and clearly what I have always known about our Leader's "Rule for Motives and Acts," but have too often failed to apply in my own life experience. I can think of one time when I truly felt the bliss you felt in your car. It happened in my car after surviving a nearly fatal experience being lost with no sense of direction for an hour in early morning fog while distance swimming in the ocean near my home in Southern California. Reaching shore, I was flooded by a sense of God's love and protection all the way to work that morning. What disappoints me in terms of my own spiritual "cleaning of the window" is that it took such drama for God to get my attention. It is only after panic and exhaustion set in that I stopped all struggle and lay motionless, face down in the water, in perfect peace, 100 yards off shore, and then heard this: (Isaiah 30:21-23) "And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left." That was all that was needed. With panic gone, and my heart rate now normal, I swam in the one direction that preserved my life. Thank you for your inspiration.

11:14 "To see God good, that is our part" which is to permit the light (the truth) of God to pass through the cleanest of windows.

Thank you, Mark, for describing so clearly the mindset that makes us ready to heal. Most CS talks tell of physical healings, but you have focused almost exclusively on the altitude of thought that makes those healings possible. Your description of how to “Live in the Now”, seeing all activity as the expression of God, bearing witness to love, eliminating personal sense, and being always ready to help and heal, is so valuable.

I am currently working towards receptivity of thought to spiritual Truth. I feel so uplifted after listening to your process in Science. So glad I was divinely led to listen today. 🙂🙏

I really enjoyed this and have listened twice. A good example of listening to the qualities of God that we each possess instead of automatic human responses of anger and frustration . I’m not sure I’d have dealt with my feelings about the council and your shed so well. Thank you

Listened to this a while back but just listened again. Wow, so helpful to realize our role in healing and then let Truth do the work. So natural that as we discipline thought we are making room and letting Truth have supremacy in our consciousness. Thanks again Mark!

Perhaps “healing” is the recognition that only perfection can be true.
The concept of the term “healing” implies that perfection isn’t working. That there is a mistake in the world we see.
That is, that our OWN mind may be misinterpreting appearances that we perceive.

Sounds like you need Jesus Christ to heal you. Get out of the CS cult and seek the truth of gods word. Truth sets you free and God through our saviour Jesus Christ loves and will deliver you if you give him the chance to prove himself to you. Read the bible !!

      Jesus has moved on.
The Christ, Truth, is what remains.
You can't accuse Christian Scientists of not knowing the Bible, or caring to know it.

Hmmm… first time here and I am surprised as to the interpretation; the problem is not the kind of thought but thought itself, “take no thought”…”be still”. Nisargadatta has said, “any thought and you are a million miles away”. Not what ego has the cleanest glass but no ego and no glass, nothing. It has nothing to do with you, you don’t have a role. Paul Gorman has UA-cam videos every CS might listen, bless…

Interesting,..But the founder of this religion. ( Mary Baker Eddie ) was neither Christian or Scientist. Christ rose from the tomb through miraculous healing. No human on the planet has this ability. You all need to humble yourselves before Christ the Lord, and be saved by the blood of His sacrifice.

You obviously haven't read Fruitage in Mary Baker Eddy's major work Science and Health.
Nor have you read the countless testimonies of miraculous healing ( which must be verified before publishing by witnesses) that have been published over the last 157 years since Science and Health was first published.
Healings abound still to this day.
