Dude it’s been so long since I’ve watched Messyourself. This guy was the pinnacle of my childhood. Him and many other UA-camrs I don’t watch now, but this guy never failed to put a smile on my face. The greatest part is, years after watching his videos, he’s practically the same guy. Energetic, excited, and funny. Good on you messyourself, you will always be a legend.

Hope you’re doing well Brandon. Just stopped by the channel after some time to check up on ya. Haven’t been here in a few years but I had some great times on your channel when I was younger. About 8-11 years old is how old I was when I watched you and now I’m almost 15. Absolutely loved your videos, you’re a freaking legend
It’s sad to see that he’s lost so many viewers to what he used to have, he’s still the funniest guy I’ve ever watched and always seems to make me laugh, I just wish he still had the 1M views he had everyday, bc he deserves it. Bro is just funny, even if the jokes are scripted which I don’t think so he’s still so funny. He will always be my nostalgic UA-camr and the best one overall.

@@JCS_1110 Honestly, I get what you mean. Felt a lot more genuine a while back. It’s like he’s put on a bit more of a persona, and his humor is not as authentic as it was before. Nonetheless, for me, he’s always gonna be part of my happy place on UA-cam. No matter how he changes, I’m gonna stick around. Because he has for me. I do agree with you though, definitely.

This man's one of the UA-camrs that's different, no matter his highs and lows he keeps posting, something that not many content creators would do, you could call it determination but I think it's just that he has the passion to post, I mean I remember back in the day when I would get a notification from this man's channel and when I'd click the vid already had over a thousand likes, but now they don't get as much, yet the man keeps pushing

He is also my childhood youtuber, I remember watching his dead rising gameplay. But now that I'm older, I can't explain why but somehow I can't enjoy videos like these as much as I used to. It's like it lost its magic to me, which is a shame cuz I used to watch this guy for hours

Brandon (and to whoever else is reading this Ig), I know no one is probably going to see this comment but that’s okay, I just want to say some things. I started watching you around 2017, and the first ever video I saw was you reacting to a “scary animation video”. I found the animations pretty terrifying since I was 9 at that time-but you’re reactions made me laugh and I instantly fell in love with your contents and you as a person (ofc in as a fan/subscriber not anything weird).
Every new video you made was so iconic and felt the same. Same editing style, same music choices, I think that’s why so many other people knew you or watched your videos because it was just so unique and whenever you reacted to something, it felt so genuine (which is why I always thought you were an amazing person.)
But of course, I just slowly stopped watching because that’s a natural thing, however it was mainly because at that time, you made your new gaming channel-I totally understand wanting separate channels for separate things, but I felt like your channel was perfectly fine for BOTH gaming and reacting. And another thing, your intro…WAS SO AMAZING. I never really got why you did it at first but I completely stopped questioning it cause it was so iconic and it just grew on me a lot. I loved your intro, but then it struck me you stopped doing it. I remember seeing another comment about it too (I can’t find it but oh well). So I kinda got bored and thus leading to me almost forgetting this channel. But then I randomly remembered you, so I had to go back and check you out.
When I looked at your other videos when they were the most recent-when I saw how little viewers you were getting I didn’t really feel bad, or sorry for you, all I thought was your views are probably dying because something changed. You used to upload a lot, but now you don’t. You used to seem genuinely so happy or excited, now you don’t.
I started watching this video and it’s a prime example of how I feel like what you’ve done to upgrade your channel and be “consistent” with the memes or popular stuff has actually lowered the quality of your vids and you as a person (I am NOT trying to say you’re horrible/bad, cause I literally grew up on you. I’m saying that your reactions to either gaming or other peoples videos seem fake and forced, which I hate seeing but Ik it might just be your personality now. And that’s fine, people change, but please Brandon, I’d like to see the REAL you again.)
I wanted to leave this message for a long time. Ik this a super long comment, and I said a lot, so even if many people see this they probably won’t read all of it, and like I said before that’s ok.
