O yeah, and, a P51 could catch an Me-262, if its falling. Theres this cool little thing called terminal velocity., did you see how every time a P51 caught an Me was when it was falling straight down?
Me 262s were 100mph faster than the P51, had to be attacked on the ground, but for their every 1 we had 10. I’ll take that Merlin over the Junkers any day though.
Plenty of me 262s were shot down or damaged in mid air. Yes they did have a significant speed advantage, but they were very slow to accelerate. And it was even worse when they had to turn.
@@nrdy8221 Sure. Around that time, they started having resource shortages. The allies' strategic bombing Champaign had taken it's toll on Germany's industry. And the fighting had caused them to lose a lot of experienced pilots.
My favorite part was the Me-262 fights at the end. I understand alot depends on the pilot in the box, but even the more advanced late war Mustang's would have had a hell of time trying to take these early jet fighters down, even with a rookie pilot.
Great video, although I doubt Mustangs had that kind of success rate against the 262 in the air. Most 262s were downed as they were landing or already on the ground, not high up in aerial combat.

This, is probably unique as an absolute, definite view of the air war in early '45. A remarkable contribution to history.
My grandmother's brrother, was Spitfire pilot.Only saw him a The cups couple of times, and never referred to him as my uncle
For Iron maiden I expected some spitfires. Saw a whole of B17, P40 andP51. All the wonderful yank planes.
Aces High was about the Battle of Britain in 1940, the Red Tails weren't in the European war in Italy until around 1943/44.......lol.
Anyone who knows real aviation, will know the CGI makes the planes look like they handle differently......and the only time a P-51D could catch an Me-262 jet was either taking off or landing.
The video wasn't supposed to be based on the battle of Britain. I used red tails because they had good cgi in the movie. I don't care what the song is about actually but to me being an American is about all Ace's and I don't care what anybody says. I take pride making this video but the song is bad ass and my video is with it is bad ass. I appreciate you watching it.
@Steve Broughton, obviously your correct, but the video just goes good with the song. Almost no one truly knows what the song is about, and if they do, they aren't paying attention to the fact that the video isn't the Battle of Britain. they are watching because the video is badass with the song and fits very well.
@@matthewpatterson2497 Thank you very much for you compliments I agree with 110% with you. I made this video to flow with the music. I made it years ago and definitely check out my other music videos. Thank you again Matthew Patterson.

O yeah, and, a P51 could catch an Me-262, if its falling. Theres this cool little thing called terminal velocity., did you see how every time a P51 caught an Me was when it was falling straight down?
Mustangs got the flash, but those bombs at 2:04 won the war
Me 262s were 100mph faster than the P51, had to be attacked on the ground, but for their every 1 we had 10. I’ll take that Merlin over the Junkers any day though.
Plenty of me 262s were shot down or damaged in mid air. Yes they did have a significant speed advantage, but they were very slow to accelerate. And it was even worse when they had to turn.
@@major_kukri2430 still im pretty sure they should have the advantage against the p51d, right?
@@nrdy8221 They certainly had the speed advantage. But there's a lot more to the German's situation in late 1944.
@@major_kukri2430 can you elaborate further if you may?
@@nrdy8221 Sure. Around that time, they started having resource shortages. The allies' strategic bombing Champaign had taken it's toll on Germany's industry. And the fighting had caused them to lose a lot of experienced pilots.
Thank you for the video! It`s very exciting!
With best regards from Ukraine!
Lo mejor de lo mejor iron maiden...!!!
Somos varios que opina lo mismo
Absolutely nailed it whoever made this!! AAW YEEEHH!!
This song proves that Dickinson is the best vocalist ever!!
My favorite part was the Me-262 fights at the end. I understand alot depends on the pilot in the box, but even the more advanced late war Mustang's would have had a hell of time trying to take these early jet fighters down, even with a rookie pilot.
Wahow ! Chouette video avec une super musique..encore !
After I finish this text I will move upward towards the right of the screen to subscribe. That was stellar! Perfect!!!!😎😎😎😎
Thanks bro
badass video with that song. great job Tony
P51 MUSTANG ANGELS ON OUR SHOULDERS AND CADILLAC OF THE SKIES.👍👍😉👉
Boeing 727 Cadillac of the skys
Pretty sure the spitfires were called the cadillacs of the sky.
(maybe it was both as they had the same engine or engines from the same brand)
@Matthew Lawrence Rolls Royce of the skies? Like literally.
best Maiden Song! nicely made clip!
Very good! Where are all the 190's, I wonder?
Whats the Film footage from? Which Movie? .. anyone know
Great video, although I doubt Mustangs had that kind of success rate against the 262 in the air. Most 262s were downed as they were landing or already on the ground, not high up in aerial combat.
What a greatt Metal song from Maiden!!!
great son and great video, congratulations
This is the best band ever!
this video is soooooooo cool
Iron Maiden and Red Tails
I had to mute the "music" so I could enjoy the CG video. 76 yrs old and I do love rock 'n roll, but this is not to my liking.

Is this from a movie or did somebody create this custom for this song? Just incredible!
How was this not the theme song for RedTails?
Different theatre.
Uh, when listening this really brillian movie. Ok. I was very very drunk. Saw from my gmail a new message that starged " Your order of Submariner Spitfire... Hey, let's make a music video of a song about the Battle of Britain by using no scene of that battle whatsoever!
The greatest generation!
Caraca até me emocionei aqui com esse clipe!
This song was about the Battle of Britan. How did you yanks take ownership of it?
Trilha perfeita para um filmaço.

Good old marlin engine again in the mustang witch was another British plane designe
Yeah Americans built the mustang with a American engine first and it wasn't that good but when they but the Merlin engine in it what it should of had in the first place another great plane was born flown by anmerica pilots
Yeah and they even try to speak the same as us and they even get that wrong
@sinkingships offools haven't you got the same problem then
Ware do you live then
The U.S. well you have had the same problem as us but you did do something about it the only problem was you stopped to soon you should have kept on going and finsed of the lot of them to many do gooders in the world you can't do this you can't say that and all the time the problem just gets bigger and bigger l just wish people would let trump do what he wants to so that the rest of the world would follow don't no what you think of trump but he saying what most of us are thinking
Awesome video and song.
No Churchill's speech?!? I love this song but without Churchill's speech, this song seems...incomplete.
I grew up in LA and my mom used to tell us kids stories of watching brand new P-51's fly out of Burbank Airport where they were built and head east to Europe.
"WE SHALL DEFEND OUR ISLAND, NO MATTER WHAT THE COST MAY BE", WINSTON CHURCHILL !

IS THIS THE 1942-45 WAR.? oh yes it must be,,,The rest of the allies were fighting since 1939..you lot were late.(again.)
@Rosida Andriyana Yeah? We're STILL the ONLY super power and we continue dominate the planet.
What country are you from? I'll try not to laugh.
@Rosida Andriyana I guess that's why most of your Russians people live in poverty and are no longer a super power. BTW, you all couldn't win any war. The American tax payer helped you all win WW2. - ever hear of lend lease? You all lost the cold war, and couldn't defeat a bunch of stone age people in A-sstan. You all couldn't even compete in the olympics without cheating! BTW, the American politicians lost Vietnam, not the American GI. Tell me some more, you ignorant fool.
@Rosida Andriyana Afghanistan??? for russia same thing
@John Wylie the US might have been late but we managed to do one thing no other country in recent times did
s2002gt also Chechnya, the Russians lost to un trained rebels
