I’ve used high priced resin for projects similar to this. The key is to take a straw and gently blow out the bubbles. If it’s a bigger project you can use a candle lighter and glide it over to get rid of bubbles. Also, both times I used it I was in my garage. I should have used a more well ventilated area. There was no smell at all, but both times I got terrible bronchitis like symptoms afterwards. Hope this helps someone. 😊
It probably works, but if your going to put time and energy into making something you'd want good quality products. It is important for resin to have uv protection and a high hardness rating. Not all resins are created equal, and not all kinds are good for all crafts or art. Many may look great and yellow very bad in the future or get bendy. This would be a great practice resin in my opinion.
What I like is that it has a shorter cure time. I can unmold after about 6 hours, where most resin you need at least 9 hours. Have not had any issues with bubbles.
Yes! I just went today to another one today to see if they had the PLUS section, and they did! I talked to an employee who said they are rolling out the PLUS aisles in the stores this year and next year. I hope you find one! 💜
Hi. I wanted to ask you about the smell was it to loud or did you use it in a well ventilated room. Did you use another resin in addition to the dollar tree brand because it looked like you went back over it?
I haven’t noticed any smell with this resin from dollar tree. Even when it is being stirred or hardened I don’t smell anything. I am working on another project with these coasters again with a different resin, and there’s a noticeable odor. I put another clear coat of resin over the coasters at the end for a smooth finish to top off the molds. Thank you for commenting, I hope I was able to answer your questions 💜
I just checked, and yes you can! they are a bit heavy but I'm sure with the right chain to hang it on, it would look great! That is such a good idea, I never thought of ! 💜
They look spectacular, glimpse of nature, well done!
Thank you so much! 💜

Agree for beginners who don’t want to invest to much and try something new, this is perfect for that
I love this resin. I've had nothing but success with it. It's easier to work with than any other resin I've used.
I’m so glad you agree! It’s been great, I can’t wait to get more of it
Does it smell or turn yellow after awhile
I can say it hasn’t turned yellow yet it’s been about 2 weeks I think. And no smell either.

These are beautiful. I especially love the one in the top right corner.
Thank you so much!💜💜
I have to go to my dollar tree tomorrow & see if it is in stock!

Did Dollar tree also carry the tint(s) and the molds?
I have seen them online, but not in stores. I have been on the look out to find them!
Beautiful !
Thank you!💜💜
Very pretty!
Thank you! 💜💜
Can you see through them to hang them in a window

Will those two bottles create all 4 of those.
I used 2 sets (4 bottles) to make 5 coasters and 2 small container/ jewelry molds, I believe they were sitting on the side of the video
Beautiful!
Thank you 💜
