Love the video. I am resurrecting a 1972 Western Auto Revelation 30-30 into a Scout/Brush rifle and could have used the information you present in your videos. This gun was manufactured by Marlin to be sold by Western Auto under their brand name so all the parts available for a Marlin 336 will fit it. I just put a Ranger Point Trigger on it which is amazing. Keep the videos coming!
Thanks so much! Those are cool. Along those lines, my dad has a Sears & Roebuck Ted Williams edition shotgun. Love the old classics. Thanks for watching!!
My coffee table currently holds my Canon PIXMA PRO-100 photo printer. I'll be using my DeWalt folding workbench to do my Marlin upgrades. Thanks to our musically- and artistically-gifted twin daughters, one room looks like a combination music store and art studio. My wife just grins and bears it.
I just got a Marlin 1895 dark series haven’t gotten to shoot it yet cause of the lockdown but your videos are helping me through this and I was wondering if you were planing on doing the video on polishing and sanding the action with this gun that you said you’d save for another video in your 1895 build video
Thanks so much! Yep the polishing video will be coming soon on this 30-30. I want to do a shooting session with it first, and then that video will be one of the next couple with it.
Wolf's Prairie Outdoors Sweet! Thank you I’m super excited for it I love the quality of your content and your videos convinced me to get the Marlon I have now
Yeah I shouldn’t have had to, but when I did a dry run I couldn’t get the rear band screw to go back in had to work on the area where the screw passes through to make it work.
Welcome! Yeah I think it’s one of those items that’s just really hard to get stock on right now. So much stuff (from lots of places) is just either being made slower than normal or takes forever to ship. Once the world (hopefully) gets back to normal it’ll be a lot better.
Hey, I met your dad last Friday. Je gave me one of your cards... excited to be learning about weapons from you.... Man he is very intelligent and he looks like Ric Flair... seriously... please let him know I sent email.
Howdy! Yeah he mentioned you. I'll let him know. We are behind on emails right now, lol. Yeah he gets the Ric Flair thing quite often LOL. Thanks for checking us out!
Lol not sponsored tools. I’ve been using Wheeler for a long time because it was inexpensive and isn’t have much when I started out. To be honest, the tips break easy and they are horrible when it comes to labeling what you’re using. Great if you’re on a budget, but there’s definitely better out there.
You have changed the barrel bands screws direction! :) Unscrew from right side 1:52, and screw back from left side of rifle 8:13.

Nice, lol. You gotta do what you gotta do!
Cant wait to try some of these on my dads gun.
Really coming together. Looking forward to more.
Yep, it's getting there! Thanks for watching!
Awesome video! Glad to see someone giving lever guns some love!
Thanks!! We definitely enjoy them :) Thanks for watching!!
Great video. Thanks for showing the whole process.
You bet! Thanks for watching!
You do an excellent job in these updates!
Thanks so much!!

Interesting video, I’ve never taken the front sight off to remove the magazine tube
Yeah I shouldn’t have had to, but when I did a dry run I couldn’t get the rear band screw to go back in had to work on the area where the screw passes through to make it work.
Plus, I wanted to show anyone not familiar with lever guns exactly what everything looks like and how it’s positioned.
Do you have a link for some good screw drivers / bits?
What is the purpose of the replacement cap on the magazine tube? Is it just for looks..?
It's just for looks. Something a little different
Hi can you replace just the follower only with out taking the mag tube off ?
Is the new magazines tube lighter?
Yes, quite a bit lighter
Hey Brian great video. Where did you purchase the trigger spring from?
Howdy, thanks!! It was an option at RPP, but I think they are currently out of them. It’s a Wolff low power spring for Marlin lever actions.
@@buildhuntxplore awesome thanks Brian. Just checked RRP website and no longer available 😅😅

What does the "Rocket Pod" do for the rifle?
Nothing, just something different to put on it, haha
Are you going to go 600 grit or higher for slicking up the rifle
Yep I generally use 600 to get it done.

You can only use my sponsors tools to work on this gun or your gonna mess up your firearm. Then messes up his screw with his sponsors tools
