Thanks for the mention #Joan my point was equally misinterpreted by many as hate towards #Rinyu just like we might have over emphasized on the word "Replace" Trust me I don't remember the last time I listened to #Daphne's music but a day hardly goes by without me listening to Rinyu but #Daphne has already cemented her place, just the fact that we are here talking about here "relevance" is evident that she's still relevant and as I said in my post, she will always be a cultural reference in the Cameroon music even if she quits today. The talent show she's been called to be a judge on shows that even if we are not seeing her "content" doesn't mean she's not working behind the scenes. Rinyu can become a bigger and better artiste than Daphne but her place will always be. Maybe she's satisfied with her current place and wants to grow vertically instead of horizontally na we no want agree probably because we miss her voice.
U can’t replace even in movies h can’t replace someone…. If u have watched the tv show “Single ladies” When Val was replaced with a different character the gap was there, the media never stopped taking about her, the new character was very good but could not do those little things rhat made people like Val … so we all unique in our own ways but can’t be replaced .
Cameroonians be doing to much. People/ artists don’t live on music alone. And damn right! her relevance is still there regardless. Daphne’s presence is still felt even in her absence. I think She is schooling and giving all her time to that. Y’all give her some time
