Wow! Very overwhelming to say the least. I wouldn’t know which way to turn first. The house is amazing though. What beautiful antique furnishings. A lot of money in this house!! I went to an estate sale of a collector and the amount of stuff this man had was like this house.
Well Dave, you hit a honey hole my friend. Estates like this one, don't come around all that often and the prices, WOW! It's the sort of rummage that's like an onion. You have to keep peeling back the layers and spend at least a couple of hours, just to be certain that you've seen everything. The holy grail may lie in a deep, dark corner, under piles of everything this wonderful soul loved and collected. You have to be the one to dig and find it. Good times! Great video.

Wish I'd been there too. Love old tools and use them myself. I rehabbed my mom & dad's 1924 Craftsman in 1991 so I appreciated seeing the old doorknobs and glad you got them.
I have never, ever seen anything like those reverse paintings. Amazing & the prices were so good. I liked the metal piggy bank & your tea pot purchase. That home was a museum! Wish I could have been there. 😙😍💞💝
INCREDIBLE PRICES!! Some of the frames on the artwork was much more valuable than the art. It must have taken a long time to price everything for the estate. Looks like there was so much in the house they wanted to get it cleared out enough to have someone live there. Congratulations for the score!
Have really enjoyed watching dave, picked the streets of west hartford for 20 years until they changed to buckets, never did scrap, to many other cool antiques, was very addicting, your life now mirrored mine then, great life enjoy, will be watching.

Well I went to a garage sale today and thanks to your teaching I picked through the jewelry and got two sterling old broaches a sterling spoon and a bowl of costume jewelry for $9 !!!! The milk glass & Jadeite mixing bowls were for a Sunbeam Mixmaster, not a Kitchenaid. Those people should have had an auction instead of an estate sale. Stuff was marked much too cheap.

We had one of those fire plaques on the outside of our house in Alexandria, Virginia. Those are awesome. And what a collection they had inside, unbelievable!
For newbies like myself, I wish you would say why each piece is good. How much you think you'll sell them for. An update weeks later to tell us how much you sold the stuff for. Even if you've not sold all that you bought, but most.

Sometimes people swarm like bees at these places. But we would definitely like to know more. Certainly a fun, historical, treasure trove & with such a volume to sell, I think the prices may have been cheaper to part with estate items--as a lot to get rid of sadly. An entire family's history of hobbies & decorating. I wondered if this was the contents of several households inside, & it would have been nice to know. Surprised at so much in "the dungeon" or basement, LOL. However, the inside photography leaves some things to be desired. Better light on camera inside where it's dark, loaded with tons, more pause, & slowing down to exhibit what's found or decided upon with your thoughts verbally. There's not enough time to explain as you go or one would lose getting desired treasures taking too long--- but there were quite a few things missed well on camera, or half of it, or not long enough to determine what objects selecting in front of camera to us. You may know but we don't, & enjoy all explanations of info when possible. Close--ups would help. Thanks so much!!!

It's nice to find an estate sale that prices items in a way that leaves room for a dealer to make money. I'm closer to Philadelphia an the professional estate sale companies here over price.

That was a great house I dated a man that used to love Brickfield he was such an antique dealer I felt like I was back 30 years ago we used to go in houses all the time like that good job you're doing
That was fun! I just sold a giant 5 feet tall set of log tongs. They were so heavy I couldn't lift them myself. I guy came all the way from Atlanta and I met him in Jacksonville to close the deal. It was a good day.😎😎😎
