Those are Birch! I wanted to buy these but my old set of 1972 Slingerlands ,22"-13"-16" were custom order all maple! So I found a great offer on the Pearl decade maple bop kit new in box for$400!!! Couldn't,pass on that!! They far exceed my expectations! They sound great and are very high quality!
Phenomenal technique!These drums are so good I would be really happy to gig them at any show. My only complaint is I wish they stuck to 14x18,12x8,14x14. More psychological than meaningful as they sound like high end drums. I would even pony up for diecast hoops on all the toms and snare bcuz they'd be great for this kit if it's one's preference.thx for sharing!

Hi Alex, oh boy..Im not sure..about the size on that cymbal..but I can see it’s a formula 602 (new, but made like the old recipe ) -To me it looks a bit bigger I must say then an 18” crash..-I’m not sure..I think I can find out & get back to you asap! -Do you like the sound & vibe from Paiste Cymbals.!?? YAMAHA really makes fantastic drums . I have a 6 piece set with a 22 kick . Just pick up stage custom steel snare 14 × 6.5 unbelievable sound .
I came looking for demos of a cheap drum set and left with a new favorite drummer.
