I used to smoke 6 7 cigarettes per day before Pandemic .Pandemic Lockdown helped me to quit smoking 😅. Shops were closed to get cigarette, so didn't get to smoke for days, probably for 1 2 weeks. and when reopened for few hrs , cost was 10 20 % more although I bought one packet and kept just to use it when craving is too much. I managed and till today didn't smoke, the ciggerate pack is also there as it is 😂.
After smoking for nearly 10 years... I quit on 16/07/2016.... Now it's already approx 7 years of non smoker life .. I am back to life ... Thanks God 🙂🙂
At the age of 16, I began smoking cigarettes, a habit that I carried for a span of 13 years. Unlike alcohol, which I did not find myself dependent on, cigarettes seemed to have a hold on me that I couldn't escape. However, I'm proud to share that for the past 8 months, I have successfully refrained from touching cigarettes altogether I know sometimes i feel like smoking one but i dont want to break the gap which i have created. Hope and pray that people who are addicted to smoking will reduce their daily count and if possible they can quit the habbit for lifetime God bless everyone❤
@@sapnasharma4204 Hey Sapna I know it differs from person to person, however i'll try to share few tips that might help you 1.Decrease your daily count gradually like if you are smoking a pack then make it to 8 cigarettes, do it until you reach 3 cigarettes per day 2.Replacing cigarettes with an alternative is important so have a glass of coconut water or any sort of juice when u feel like to go for a smoke 3.Concentrate on your fitness, Do little amount of exercises on daily basis. 4. Most important thing is to cut down those 3 cigarettes/day so what you need to do is make a goal for not touching a single smoke for 14 days( Right after 2 weeks try to push it for another week and now prepare your mind in meanwhile that you are not gonna break this chain cuz you've done this with a lot of dedication so keep that in mind) I know how difficult it is, nevertheless WHEN I CAN SO YOU CAN and i hope this helps.

I used to engage in several harmful habits such as smoking cigarettes, weed, ice, and sheesha. I also used to drink alcohol excessively and was taking some dancing pills. I understand that these were extremely unhealthy habits, and I regret ever starting them in the first place. However, I am happy to inform you that I have completely quit all of these harmful habits. I am now 22 years old, and I feel more energetic than ever before. Quitting these harmful habits was not easy, and it took a lot of effort and determination on my part. But I realized that these habits were not only affecting my health but also my relationships and productivity. I am grateful for the support of my loved ones, and I hope to continue living a healthy and fulfilling life. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope my story can inspire others who are struggling with harmful habits to make positive changes in their lives.

My dad started smoking in his teens, we tried everything to make him to quit smoking , he tried to quit for few days and started smoking again. Last year he has been diagnosed with lung cancer. Surgery is not possible and we are trying to cure him with chemotherapy and radiation. Cancer sucks so those people who are trying to quit smoking do it as early as possible. Cancer treatment are worst and nobody should go through that pain.

Just for the sake of understanding and learning. This for a person who has been smoking for a very long time right. What about a person who smoked a single cigarette, as his first ever one. Would it take these same amount of days for healing the body? Also what if this person was not inhaling the smoke and just kept in mouth and let out.
I was extremely heavy smoker. Have been smoking for almost 19 years. I used to smoke 15-20 cigarettes a day. Even I tried many ways to quit but nothing worked. One day I felt a lump near my collar bone and I stopped smoking from that moment. No cravings, nothing! Now it’s been a year and half since I last smoked!😊 Thankfully the lump wasn’t cancer. So I think it’s all about how firmly you stand with your decision of quitting. Be strong and quit smoking! You’ll feel better. Choose life❤!

I have been smoking daily for the last 12 years and had never thought of quitting it. Suddenly on the 24th of March 2023 (7 days ago) after finishing my last cigarette at night, the thought of quitting smoke hit my mind. And I decided not to smoke anymore. It's been 7 days now and I have neither smoked nor had any high urge. 'You cannot quit until you decide' It's not that tough, don't go for the slow quitting process by reducing the quantity instead take the decision and strike on your craving as hard as you can. Be honest with yourself and keep telling yourself that 'You are strong, you can do it'.

I had withdrawal symptoms for nearly 1 year. It was terrible but i did not touch cigarettes again. For some of us, the addiction is stronger and it can feel like a life and death decision. But it is worth it - so stay strong. If it is impossible, do try the nicotine patches or chewing gum for some time - but do not do vaping. Also distract your mind and try not to get into stressful situations. Even today after many years of quitting, if someone is smoking near me and i inhale the smoke, oh that kick!!! But no i'm never doing it again
I was a chain smoker since 10 years. I used to smoke 40- 50 cigarettes in one day. Its been more than 5 years I quitted smoking. You will not believe I left cigarettes in a single day. I promise myself that I wont smoke from next day onwards and that is how I stopped smoking without any alter option. I also drank alcohol half bottle daily since last 16 years. Its been 2 weeks I left it, same way I left smoke. Feeling happier and blessed. Hope god will bless me with good health in future😞
Very informative video. I have one question though. Is switching to nicotine containing vaping a better alternative for managing withdrawal symptoms temporarily? Will this be a way to quit smoking permanently? Thanks. Keep up the good work. :)
Nicotine in any form (cigarettes, E-cigarettes, Gutka, hukkah) causes harm to body. The principle behind nicotine replacement therapies is slow sustain release of nicotine at low quantities from patches or gums, which help in dealing with withdrawal symptoms without causing that “HIT” we receive from cigarette. So if we consider Vaping, it causes sudden release of Nicotine or “HIT”. So it is not a good alternative for quitting. Hope I m able to explain. Thanks for watching

Being an ex smoker from 1995 to 2017 (22 years) I simply quit a week before my daughter was born after having a serious soul searching night about how second hand smoking affects babies and so the choice was between my baby's health and her full entitlement to grow up with a healthy father or a second hand smoking affected baby growing up with serious potential health issues by a coughing wheezing father on a quick appointment with the Yamaraj any time and THAT'S IT as simple as that I promised myself that if after this moment I light another cigarette then my precious love of my life, my daughter is dead and it has been almost 5 years of triumph. My take is that if you can control your restless and fickle mind YOU CAN QUIT ANYTHING PERIOD. Just have a serious self conversation on your life and your priorities.
@@wingsofdesire5825 What i am saying is that when i quit smoking the main reason was the promise I gave to myself that from then onward if i ever smoke another cigarette then to consider my daughter dead. I used to smoke 4 to 5 everyday. And by the end of the day I would tell myself tomorrow I am not going to smoke. And the next day the same routine 1 morning 2nd after break Fast 3rd after lunch 4th before dinner 5th after dinner. One fine day as I woke up I decided to break this pattern and delay my smoking time. After the first day of quitting.. I dint turn back and now it's 2nd week and I have 0 cravings and I feel much better. Yes I do have some anger and an irritating mood. But it feels like heaven now and I feel I have control over myself. I keep myself motivated by reading and listening to the benefits of quitting .. Just take a mind shift rest everything will fall in place.
One advice to those who are thinking to quit smoking....i was a regular smoker who used to smoke 10 cigarette a day for nearly 8 years.....I was a cricketer and i know the physical strength a player posses so i was feeling depressed as my strength was going....so i tried to quit but not able to do it....one day in 2020 May 31 I swear on my mother that i will quit smoking because i love my mother and i cant effort to see me getting sick because of smoking ...so i decided not to smoke and it was world no tobacco day ...from that day till now i never did any kind of smoking whether it is hukkah or anything..because my friends were saying that u have quitted smoking so lets have hukkah....i said no i will not take any kind of smoke....so whoever is trying to quit smoking put somethong very special before smoking from your life....good luck everyone

smoking to bohot choti chij hai mai kyi baar drugs le kar chod chuka hun . par aisa har koi nahi kar sakta mere friends se nahi chutata. jaan nikal jati hai bande ki ek tarah se isliye bas yeh baat yaad rakho apko jis bhi chij me jitna maza aata hai baad me utna hi kaam kharab hota hai . agar tum dard bardasht nahi kar sakte to tumhe maza bhi nahi karna chahiye. body pain to bohot choti chij hai main problem to mental hoti hai. tum 24 ghante control kar bhi loge to ek do minute hi kaafi hai tumare mind ko tumhe mazboor karne ke liye. by the way very nicely explained.
At the age of 16, I began smoking cigarettes, a habit that I carried for a span of 13 years. Unlike alcohol, which I did not find myself dependent on, cigarettes seemed to have a hold on me that I couldn't escape. However, I'm proud to share that for the past 8 months, I have successfully refrained from touching cigarettes altogether
I know sometimes i feel like smoking one but i dont want to break the gap which i have created.
Hope and pray that people who are addicted to smoking will reduce their daily count and if possible they can quit the habbit for lifetime
God bless everyone❤
quit kaise kiya smoking😢
@@sapnasharma4204 Hey Sapna I know it differs from person to person, however i'll try to share few tips that might help you
1.Decrease your daily count gradually like if you are smoking a pack then make it to 8 cigarettes, do it until you reach 3 cigarettes per day
2.Replacing cigarettes with an alternative is important so have a glass of coconut water or any sort of juice when u feel like to go for a smoke
3.Concentrate on your fitness, Do little amount of exercises on daily basis.
4. Most important thing is to cut down those 3 cigarettes/day so what you need to do is make a goal for not touching a single smoke for 14 days( Right after 2 weeks try to push it for another week and now prepare your mind in meanwhile that you are not gonna break this chain cuz you've done this with a lot of dedication so keep that in mind)
I know how difficult it is, nevertheless WHEN I CAN SO YOU CAN and i hope this helps.
Jisne smoking quit kar diya hai wo bhulkar bhi kisi ke kahne par smoke na kare , chahe wo ek cigarette hi kyu na ho.nahi to fir se smoking ki habit start ho jayegi. Aur saari mehanat kharab ho jayegi.

Now it’s been a year and half since I last smoked!😊

'You cannot quit until you decide'
It's not that tough, don't go for the slow quitting process by reducing the quantity instead take the decision and strike on your craving as hard as you can.

Congratulations for a toxin free life! keep it up! you are a winner 🏆
Thank you Richa ji ......mai aaj se hi

Very good!
Thanks for sharing your story and motivating others✨. You are a winner 🏆
"Daughter is dead" WHAT!!!
@@wingsofdesire5825 What i am saying is that when i quit smoking the main reason was the promise I gave to myself that from then onward if i ever smoke another cigarette then to consider my daughter dead. Believe me that was the strongest motivation to crush any cravings in the initial week and slowly I took complete control of my mind and that's how i haven't touched any cigarette for the past almost 6 years which incidentally also is the exact age of my precious daughter so CHILL
April 2021, I promised my mother to never smoke when her oxygen dropped because of Covid 19. And I have and always keep my promise.
Keep it up! You are a winner 🏆

Me
I used to smoke 4 to 5 everyday.
Just take a mind shift rest everything will fall in place.
me watching this video while smoking 😢😂

One advice to those who are thinking to quit smoking....i was a regular smoker who used to smoke 10 cigarette a day for nearly 8 years.....I was a cricketer and i know the physical strength a player posses so i was feeling depressed as my strength was going....so i tried to quit but not able to do it....one day in 2020
May 31 I swear on my mother that i will quit smoking because i love my mother and i cant effort to see me getting sick because of smoking ...so i decided not to smoke and it was world no tobacco day ...from that day till now i never did any kind of smoking whether it is hukkah or anything..because my friends were saying that u have quitted smoking so lets have hukkah....i said no i will not take any kind of smoke....so whoever is trying to quit smoking put somethong very special before smoking from your life....good luck everyone
