the adjuster is supposed to be on the bottom. you also didnt re-install the bolts the way they came out. suspension components are to be torqued. these are 29 ft-lbs and the shock box clearly shows this is a 250lb spring
I just installed the Ace Front fork on my Crf110 with the Front desk conversion kit. Now I want to order a rear shock. I weigh 165 so what type of spring would be best? Thanks since you know your shit. Lol
@@Review-This so you have some options based on your style of riding. if you're just tooling around, no serious jumps and just need to "not bottom out" I'd suggest a sik110s spring on the stock shock. if you're going to do some trails that require reasonable dampen img or wide open field runs and fast whoops definitely a DNM shock 250lb spring. @165lbs the only reason you'd need the DNM 350lb shock setup is if you plan to ride with gear (armor, boots helmet) which put you in the 180lb range and plan to do big jumps and need that extra stiffness to avoid possibly fully compressing the spring. personally, I'm 6ft 180lbs trail riding with gear (so closer to 200lbs) and have DNM 350lb shock set up for soft/slow compression rebound and it soaks up the rocks pretty well. no matter what setup you go with I advise the 1" shock extender (placed up top into the frame since the lower is the pivot point) . and do the BBR fork internals as the shock will now make the stock front feel way too soft.
@@RoosterTails nice. I’ve heard some people having to grind an area down to get the shock installed. I noticed u installed it upside with the adjustment. Was it easier that way ?
@@lestervida It fit this way with no problems, no clearance issues. I wonder if direction makes a difference? The damper adjustment is still accessible from the top so we didn't see an issue with it.

Thanks for catching that. Is there any reason the adjuster should be on the bottom?
@@RoosterTails 2 reasons: waaay more accessible and if you add a shock extender it should always go on top opposite the adjustment

@@kitvexed8229 Thank you very much.
Which shock/spring is that? Name ?
I believe it’s the TBPARTS - DNM REAR SHOCK FOR CRF110 AND KLX110L (350LBS). Unfortunately looks like they’re out of stock right now.
Actually think it was the 250 LB spring rate
