I ended up using sensor safe rtv and the self tapper to hold it secure. I switched from the 18GT manifold to a ported boss and I prefer the boss. I hated dealing with the imrc on the GT mani
Have you gotten rid of the truck manifold? I have a 2015, and I’ve heard the truck’s manifold is pretty great on the dyno. Might be a good upgrade for someone who isn’t looking to upgrade their vehicle.
I sold it to a guy who was doing a full build on a 2013 coyote F150. He found that the 2015 runner seals were different but the 18s have the same seals so he needed it in a hurry to finish his build.
I don't remember. I took the sensor to lowes and measured it against one of those bolt hole gauges then found the closest drill bit. It was an odd size like a 19/64 or something lol
@@bane302performancetruck8 I’m currently in the middle of the swap and I’m having troubles plugging in the imrc plug that’s above the mas sensor. Is it supposed to be a direct fit for that plug?
The gt manifold came with the imrc so I didn't have to convert anything. Now I'm running a ported BOSS302 manifold and I like it better than the 18 GT mani
The question to know is does it remedy the 2018 and newer 5.0 f150 deceleration rattle?
I'm about to put a ported 18 gt intake on my 2018 F150 once my tune revision comes in than I get to swap them out
How did u get the map sensor to hold with the bolt?

For the map sensor, did you use the same bolt that came with the truck manifold
Did you use the GT Thottle body or truck TB
It has the stock F150 TB

What size hole is the sensor

I'm trying to get the intake ready to swap but want all the headaches out of the way before
Ok thanks
@@buellkuykendall1308 yeah that's smart! It'll go pretty smooth as long as you don't make the same mistakes as me lol

Did you finish doing this swap? Any codes after you finished?
Would this intake be safe for towing?
I wanted to put one of these on a 2013 F150
I don't see why not, but if you're looking towing I'd recommend the 18 f150 intake manifold.
Which hoses did you need to convert to the 18 manifold to make it work?
The stock F150 hoses fit the best.
Thank for the reply

Always a learning curve that’s for sure.

That high of rpm’s should probably upgrade your oil pump. F150’s 5.0 are supposed to be the weak point in the higher rpm range.
From everything I've been told as long as I'm not banging on the rev limiter for extended time stock opg are fine.
Any dyno #
Not yet. I ordered a set of SPD downpipes and I'm planning to get a before and after dyno to see what gains they make. I'll post a vid when It's done.
Did the imrc fit correctly from the truck to the gt manifold?

@@bomcinnis2848 bet that up, I’m gonna start with the gt manifold and step it up from there 👍
On the boss manifold what u do with the purge valve
