    Most importantly you have to use stiga hands to do this.
    PS: thank you guys for the 108 likes! (Its an emergency ambulance number in my state btw) Thank you so much :)

    It's important to apply the glue with the "S" in mind. Anyway, when I get a pre-assembled racket, it always seems to be cut far more neatly than this. I wonder how they do the rubber cutting at the factory.

      ua-cam.com/video/tAi4BzdDhRw/v-deo.html look at this vid. when they cut it they use a craft knife and it looks super neat.

    Can you guys please make a racket/rubber info vid? Kind of like a review that categorizes each racket depending on how much power,spin and control it has? I cant decide what racket I should buy from your shops that bests suit me tbh. Thank you

    Pro players built own racket, because many of them used to the paddle, so they only change rubbers. They dont change paddles that often, even all paddles are the same for our eyes. It is just feeling that used paddle by you is the perfect one. :)

    For the cutting, it is definitely a fail, especially as an education video from such a well known TT brand.

      @@damontan4749 I mean in my opinion it's still shoddy cutting nonetheless. Instead of using scissors I use a carpet knife or the fresh blade of a Stanley knife. Would recommend 👍👍

      Most pros & elites use scissor. Cutting with knife has disadvantages. Beginners have no idea the advantages of cutting rubbers with scissor, they just want the racket looks pretty.

    What if you apply the glue and then accidentally drop some impurities on the surface, how do you remove the glue in order to prepare it for a new round of glue application?

    • @muhammadsohaibimran1402
      @muhammadsohaibimran1402 5 років тому +2

      If it happened to your blade then you can use your hands to remove the glue. If with rubber, use a table tennis ball and rub it gently on the sponge of the rubber the glue will roll up and you can take off large masses of glue without damaging the sponge

    I don't want to spend extra 15$ special ping pong glue just for old paddles.

    • @NaniskaRamsam
      @NaniskaRamsam 4 роки тому +3

      I don't know if you have already tried this. But a scalpel will often give a way more jagged edge than siccors. I learned this the hard way :)

  • @mastro211
    @mastro211 3 роки тому

    People saying scissors are awful - very wrong. This is just simply a very poor cutting job. Scissors are easy to use and shape well. Not as well as a scalpel, but at least you don't have to change the blade every couple rubbers.
    Rolling the rubbers though, people NEVER hold the rubber up while rolling UNLESS it's a spongeless pimple. If you hold the rubber while rolling, it can overstretch the rubber to a very large degree. Best to place the rubber on, lightly roll it out, then heavily roll over it.

    Too much glue. I prefer use credit card to even out the glue and also dont press too much when using the roll tube.

    • @-danR
      @-danR 5 років тому +3

      It isn't too much glue. The stuff is 80% water. A thinner amount of glue and the straight edge of a plastic card is a combination that can leave microscopic striations (on the _blade_ application) where there isn't any glue at all. Those will be areas that will not be contributing properly to the uniform shear-tensioning in spin-vis-spin dynamics, eg. counterlooping. Especially unwelcome on the sweet-spot.
      We do see striations in this video but they are simply high and low areas, without actually excluding adhesive in the low areas.
