Idea: The Ottoman Empire observes the empire of the Russian's decline/downfall and decides to join the war effort. Known for their historically poor military combat ability, the Ottomans enact reforms to preserve their national credibility. They replace their outdated army guns with new European ones and set war goals: reclaiming the Anatolian border lost during the Russo-Turkish War of 1877 and establishing client states in the Caucasus. To achieve this, the Ottomans first abolish corrupt officials who have influenced poor decisions in the capital. They establish checks and balances between the Sultan’s rule and the Ottoman Parliament. The Sultan introduces a debt ceiling to limit spending and establishes an Ottoman central bank to reform the Ottoman Lira. Issuing bonds, they fund infrastructure development projects, encourage Turkic immigration, and prioritize citizen needs. A policing force maintains stability, while supply systems and roads are renovated for efficient trade and to prevent future inflation. After implementing these reforms, the Ottomans conscript an active force of one million, allocating separate budgets for military and civilian needs. They arm themselves and utilize oil findings in Saudi Arabia to finance the war, selling oil to Europe. A motorized vehicle deal with Britain provides modern weapons in exchange for oil. The Ottomans then declare war on Russia, citing territorial claims in the Caucasus and Russia’s waning power. Deploying motorized forces, the Ottomans strategically navigate mountain terrain to avoid harsh winters. Hit-and-run tactics disorient the Russians, targeting the under-equipped 13th infantry. A blitzkrieg encircles the Russian forces, leading to the destruction of the Russian Caucasus Army. The Treaty of Istanbul is signed due to major Russian defeats, with Russia ceding Georgia and Azerbaijan (including annexed Armenia). Russia pays reparations, offers trade, and commits to peace for 15 years. The Ottomans regain their pre-1877 Anatolian border, earning significant prestige from this victory. The Ottomans then entered a redemption period, opening oil businesses that utilized Caucasian oil. They established a major oil pipeline, fostering continued economic growth and development. Additionally, they harnessed the limestone resource found in Lebanon for alternative construction methods, resulting in robust and powerful buildings with substantial disc support and structuring. The Ottoman Golden age would have just begun.
I usually only use comment requests in Your Alternate Future, yet considering how much time you spent on this, I could do an exception. Won't be able to include this in Episode 2 though, to which the script already exists. Would love to add it in Episode 3 on the other hand, Turkey was bullied too much in Hellenic World already.
@@user-sz3cu8jh3s this can go 2 ways, for the Greek's ottomans and Greece will exchange their people to their homelands and the Kurds and Armenians are given an assigned autonomous state they all have to stay in "think of it as American Indian reservations" or "You mean the other Turks?"
Peace Treaty Idea: Austria- Hungary is divided into Hungary, which has all ethnic Hungarian lands, Slovakia, Current borders except for Hungarian ethnic lands, Bohemia-Moravia, A puppet of Germany. Greater Croatia gets all South Slavic lands, and Poland gains independence as a German puppet. Also border territories go to Germany and Italy. Germany annexes Austria and the Sudatenland.
Nah Austria is being annex by Germany Bohemia is being puppeted hungry released and all Italian lands being given back to Italy with the coast towards Albania
This is so good and you are so underrated! W video man cant wait for more! Edit: also where do u get ur map resources from? Like the satellite map and outlines for borders.
That's an interesting question. For the older maps, like this one, which I've pretty much used along the entire Alt Future of Europe Series, is just a screenshot from Google Maps and manual outline at 2 pixel brush thickness. For the newer maps, I just outline the QGIS map with 1 pixel thickness and later adapt the QGIS topographic map.
@@Egyptian_countryball1973 Now, I'd say like 3 weeks? I'm currently making episode 2 of Your Alternate Future, then comes Hellenic World, and THEN will I start making Episode 2.

Only one question... what will happen with the minorities in Anatolia? (Greeks, Armenians, Kurds etc).
