But everyone told me that turbocharged engines have a lag.
Oh well, so much for trusting other persons who still live in the 80's.
It's a 3L engine with >300Nm of torque even without turbos, and it's twin turbo charged. With smaller displacement and single turbo it gets problematic; if you have a small turbo to eliminate lag it will stop pulling at 4500RPM like it's a diesel, and if you have big turbo then you have big lag.
Imagine driving this car on the snow in the winter with a bit of frost on it...

I really want this car, I can afford a mid mileage one but not a facelift. What do you think I should do? Ideally want a 2017+ less than 40k miles.. Do you think a 2015 one with 65k on it will still be ok?
Definitely, these cars are made for hundreds of thousands of miles. 65k is nothing, what matters is to find one that has been maintained properly

About k$70 (new) compared to usually around 60k to 65k... Euros (with around 15000-20000 miles).
@@rogerleboucher but lets be honest 70k is not that much (i'm not a rich person) compared to other cars for example Mercedes or Audi. And the m3 f80 is my dream car ive been craving one for years i want to get one even if i have to work my ass off for 70 years
I understand, but when you have some loans (flat to reimburse - not speaking about a house when you're 35yo and single in France xD), 70k euros (or even dollars) is something you cannot always afford.
I wish you to buy one of course if that's your dream, but don't forget you will not live in it. :)
