Complete Gala of the 35th Anniversary of the Cystic Fibrosis Balearic Association

The Cystic Fibrosis Balearic Association commemorated its 35th Anniversary in the Auditorium of the Agora Portals International School with a gala that thrilled the audience.
The director of the Respiralia Group, Carlos Pons, gave way to the different blocks of this event.
The gala began with the institutional speeches by the President of the Cystic Fibrosis Balearic Association, Ana Maria Amate; the Mayor of Calvia, Juan Antonio Amengual; and the President of the Balearic Government, Marga Prohens.
In these speeches, special mention was made to the work done by the alma matter of the Respiralia Group, Teresa Llull.
Then, tribute was paid to the people with Cystic Fibrosis who, unfortunately, left before their time in these 35 years. They are our particular stars, the ones who guide us, the ones who make us never let our guard down and who make us do our best every day to leave no one behind. Películas Suecas, with the collaboration of Nuria Vich, who contributed her creativity, and Miquel Àngel Lacomba, who accompanied the video with his piano music.
After this moving video, Aina Amengual sang on the piano the song “Oración del remanso”, touching with her soft voice the people who listened to her attentively.
As it could not be otherwise, Swedish Films did not want to miss the opportunity to surprise us with a spot commemorating this anniversary.
As the spot says, we have achieved great milestones throughout our history, but where they have to be seen is in people with Cystic Fibrosis. A clear example of these good results is the case of Natalia Livesey, who pursued her dream of being a professional dancer until she achieved it. On this wonderful stage, Natalia performed a piece by Mozart to demonstrate her talent.
To continue awakening emotions, Jaime Gili delighted the audience with his humor, managing to give the best medicine that exists, that which the medical community cannot prescribe: laughter.
After this performance, the Rosa del Mar Award 2023 was presented to the company Linde, a partner of the Respiralia Group since 2004. At the same event, Dr. Amparo Solé received her plaque commemorating the Rosa del Mar Award received in 2022.
Miquel Àngel Lacomba performed his song “Illetes” on the piano before giving way to another very moving moment.
For the presentation of the FQBalear 2024 Award, a representation of the board of directors, the professional team and the collective of people with Cystic Fibrosis went on stage. Before announcing the name of the awarded person, messages of the closest people were read. Finally, the name of Monica Ferrer was announced as the winner of this award. She was a physiotherapist and volunteer of the Respiralia Group until fate prevented her from doing so. Even so, Monica continues to maintain ties with the whole group.
The event ended with a performance by Susana Aguiló with her song Whilst Dancing and a cocktail served by the students of the Escola d'Hoteleria de les Illes Balears.
