@Annihilator1111 Thanks, say, was the factory totally closed? Are all B Class now made in Hungary? I Googled the town and found some car museums is that all that is left? Please let me know. All the best, Henryk
@Annihilator1111 Thanks, I hope so. Somehow the thought of Mercedes Benz made outside of Germany runs a nasty chill down the spine. The flag of Mercedes originality must remain in Germany :)
I like my B Class but that strange engine arrangement makes it VERY expensive to perform repairs on. I had a starter fail and the replacement cost me over $1500 in parts and labour. The dealer has to practically drop the engine out to do any kind of repairs. Bad design decision in favour of extra safety. Be mindful of this if you plan on buying one.
The starter motor can be replaced from the front by taking out the airbox and some fiddling even on the rare b200 turbo...just because you got ripped off doesn't mean it's an expensive car.. only the belt tensioner is expensive to replace in labour but that part rarely fails you can replace every roller yourself
@DrBigBudz You will never be able to afford " This euro trash" anyway. You'll probably by the Bersa .380 equivelant of a car....something like a Geo Metro, that's more in your price range.
No those toylike plastic truck smash driver with steering rack through the chest...soft as fck us cars a comfort&cheap and trade efficiency for comfort not safety
Here in America, the roadsides are always littered with your big trucks, upside down, on their sides, because of lack of engineering. Very unsafe. Bigger is the shits, not better
i have a 2010 B180 comfort with parktronic and skywindow.. 64k km.. as one of my cars, i love it...

On the contrary German mechanical engineering is awesome, but they should farm out all computer and electronic work to Japanese.
