Growing up, I mostly listened to various genres of metal and other guitar focused music, but I always loved any brushes I had with quality rap and hiphop. Ever since hearing Gang Starr's Moment of Truth on the Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2 soundtrack (lol) and projects like Deltron 3030 (tangentially introduced to me via his feature on Gorillaz' Clint Eastwood), I've hoped equally talented visionaries with high concept hard-hitting production and word play would continue to propagate through the industry. Almost 25 years later, I come across artists like yourself who manage to elevate the genre while evoking the same feelings of awe at the artistry and talent on display. I felt the need to say more than just that this music is good, because to me, it goes beyond that. You deserve every success in life man, and i hope more and more people continue to discover you and feel the same way that I do 🙂
