I am so impressed with the way you blocked in without a light source which I have never attempted. So thanks for the demo as now I am going to try and paint without having a big open light source. I guess I am like a lot of artists who put an arrow showing direction of light. Thanks and I love the painting.

How do I begin, and what materials to begin with
Hello Ajay Sir, sorry for the late reply. You can start painting anytime you want. As a beginner I will suggest acrylic or watercolor(if you like) medium with few colors like Red(Crimson), Blue(Cobalt) and Yellow(Cadmium) and try to mix Orange, Green and Violet out of it. Parallelly do some sketches of the subject matter you like to paint. Then immediately start splashing colors. This way you can do some abstracts also to satisfy your passion. Hope this helps.
